Wonderful Ramen restaurant in the downtown area. Service and atmosphere was great. Stopped by after visiting the zoo and was very satisfied with our meals. Offer Sake by the bottle and quality of food is on point! Was recommended the beef rib ramen and sushi with fried onions and truffle oil. Did not disappoint!

Walked in on a whim and was very pleased with BeShock! Service was friendly & easy going. Food was very good although I had neither the ramen or sake. We had sushi & endemame. Our server was Lucia & she was very helpful in her suggestions.

This is a nice Japanese Ramen place. However this location is extremely busy. Be prepared to wait. We had called ahead and said would be there by 30 mins but even though we were there within that time and were promised a table when called, upon arrival we were asked to wait. We had to wait for around 20 mins. The food is however delicious!

I had the tan tan and it was alright. The flavour was pretty standard imo but the service was solid.

This one right here is a cool spot. I like the service, the food, and the location. Jordan (if I remember it right) rendered a phenomenal service of making everyone feel welcome. He esteemed the guests with his knowledge of their products and superb customer service. Ramen is an actual ramen, which is very rare in California. It did not taste localized, the Asian in me approved. I’ll definitely go back to your place once I move down to San Diego. The girl seated next to me can’t shut up about the concoction she tried, and had like 3 glasses in 10 minutes. You got her.

I have 4 dishes in my order:1. Beshock Ramen: 4/5 , the broth is very tasty, full of umami, the only thing i feel weird is about the noodles, it’s definitely not a regular one u buy from grocery store, which means the restaurant may made it themselves. But It’s just not my type so I gave 4.2. Hatsumushi Roll (hope I’m not spell it wrong): 3/5, it’s like a normal eel roll but decorated and make in a fancy way, the wasabi they said it’s fresh but in my opinion it’s not fresh, and it’s not spicy as usual.3. Takoyaki: 3/5, the flour they used to made it definitely not rice flour, the decoration is pretty, but the taste kinda egh.4. Chicken Karaage: 5/5, It’s the star of this restaurant, tasteful, tender, juicy. Worth a try.

Great Ramen Place... the beef ramen was so flavorful with the beef falling off the bone. Tasted like it had sat in the Smoker all day before it hit the bow... that good. Parking was tough because it's downtown on a busy street.

Awesome!!I tried the Beshock Ramen, and it was fantastic.Tasty, fully flavored, and it was a great decision after flying from Miami for a bunch of hours.Attentive team and friendly staff.

The Beef Ramen was amazing! Marinated beef rib was salty but tasty. The beef broth was possibly the best I've tasted in a long while.Service was slow but I guess that's to be expected for a Friday night... Would definitely go back next time I'm in town just for the Beef Ramen.

Trendy spot in San Diego’s East Village for ramen and sushi. The modern, industrial finishings inside make the space feel sophisticated and sleek. However,I was less impressed with the ramen I ordered as the pork belly was nearly all fat. Additionally, I noticed that the seasonings typically provided for free at other ramen bars would cost you extra here. Overall though, it was a decent dining experience.
