This is the place to go to when you don’t know where to go. It’s always busy, the food is good and the prices are modest. We shared the All In fries which were great and my duck Mac and cheese was good as well. This place always has games on and is one of the premier places to watch games downtown.
We visited this place 3 times in our 5 day stay in SD and walked by it many times. It’s always lively but we never had to wait long to get a place to sit. Food is a step up from most sports bars. Really enjoyed the shrimp skillet.
My husband and I had dinner at this restaurant on June 1st. Our waitress was great and helped us with questions from the menu. We both ordered salads which were very tasty and just the right size.
First the staff was amazing. Aaron had great recommendations on drinks and food as well as the dessert menu that isn't on the actual menu. He also go the tv closest to us changed to the basketball game we wanted to watch. Food wise I ended up ordering the half house salad with added chicken and let me tell you, that salad was HUGE!! Our table got three desserts and the skillet brownie/cookie mix was the best. The reason for this being 4 starts is because the ice cream was terrible. It was carrot shavings in ice with the frozen cream part separated at the bottom. Maybe if it was mixed better it would have tasted better.
Alexia was a great server-food was AMAZING Bloody Mary's on point but the Milk Was A Bad Choice is my favorite. Atmosphere was great, food was great [large portions] service was awesome. We will come here every time we come to San Diego.
Come HUNGRY! The portions are large. The food was so good, I had the Bleu Shroom BarleyMac and it was very tasty. Sweet due to Balsamic glaze and savory from everything else. Our server was incredible! It was a busy Friday night but he held it down and had fun doing it. He made our night with his quips and positive attitude. I would absolutely come here again, but with a bigger appetite. It was a great way to start our night out. Also, for a Friday night they were busy but there was no wait.
I would recommend just getting drinks here. Half of my dish was undercooked pasta and the rest overcooked duck. Strange menu scraps are used as decor. Overall just a strange experience.
We skipped the appetizers and went for their Brunch menu! Tried their amazing tomatoes soup with their Veggie Burger ! The Veggie burger was awesome…. Double Quinoa Patties with your burger toppings. We also tried their Chicken Burger with jicama slaw which was a winner too! Our server was great and recommended us Mango Beer which didn’t disappoint. Go here during game time as they might not be that busy. We had a great lunch!
Fantastic staff, great atmosphere and amazing food, the perfect evening which helped make our holiday a great one
Stopped in for lunch and to watch sports. Our service was good, the food was good and the crowd was lively.
