Real tasty and fresh. We had the Baba Kabob sandwiches. One medium spicy and one not. Medium spicy was just perfect. My wife really enjoyed the not spicy.
The positive reviews of this place don't do it justice! (I can only assume the negatives being surrounding business trying to derate competition.)My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch. This is a family-owned business, with Mom and Dad working in the back and their son taking orders up front. As we were ordering, I noticed that when I mentioned I wanted a combination (drink and fries also) the father threw some fries in the fryer. I ordered the potato bolani, and the mom casually grabbed some bread dough and a rolling pin and got to work. Before I had even paid for my order, two other people were working on it!A wait of about ten minutes, and the food arrived. I'm not a very good food photographer, but I included a picture. It was even better than it looks! The hot potato bolani bread was amazing, the chicken shawarma sandwiches excellent and fresh, and the fries crisped to perfection!Probably the best lunch my wife and I have had in a very long time! I talked to the proprietors afterwards and found out they make their dough daily, and cook it fresh when you order it for the bolani. They start their day well before they open preparing the food, even marinating the meat the day before it is served. We ordered rather generic items, but the food was was fresh, tasty, and on point. I cannot wait to go back and try other menu items that include the lamb and beef!
DELICIOUS AUTHENTIC AFGHAN FOOD, LOVE IT!!! ? It was my 1st time here and we ordered Bolani, Ashak and Mantu, Every dish was flavorful and the chutneys are the best! We enjoyed very much!
Small gem hidden away. Really good kabob better than expected it. Grilled right there on the fire stove and you can taste it. The meat just comes apart with the plastic fork. The most amount of yummy rice I ever gotten anywhere!!!! Our entrees came with tzatziki and some green sauce which had a kick to it which is what we love. On top of the huge portions of kabobs and rice was a side salad.... this should have been at least a meal for 2 but I'm a pig when it comes to good food so I ate the whole thing and skip dinner. Still funny a customer came in asking for Iranian kebab and the cashier had to explain to him that he is not an Iranians from Iran and show the customer this is how we do our kabob. In front of the shop does say Afghan. But back to food we was really satisfied with our chicken kabob and lamb kabob entrees. Will definitely do the 30 minutes drive back to have some more.
The staff here is amazing, especially Ramell! I’ve eaten here numerous times, and was referred by my barbershop a few doors down, The Mecca. Food is delicious, hot, and of great quality! Restroom is clean, restaurant is clean, and I highly recommend!
Food is amazing! So fresh and flavorful. You get a lot of food for the price. The restaurant is small but comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly! Best service we've had in a long time. We will be back!
