Visiting San Diego again after a 2 year pause, we decided to revisit Athens Market. The food was delicious, the service was still great. Hours are a bit shorten due to Covid, but that had no impact on getting a table at 6;45.

On my very recent trip to San Diego, I had numerous great dining experiences, and this was one of them. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was convivial. There was a slight issue with the green beans appearing to be canned, as mentioned by a few other posters - but that would never keep me from going back - it was just that good.The drinks were quite a deal, and it felt like an evening dinner party with neighbors. I will go back every time I am in town
Visiting from New York. My girlfriend and I decided to stop here to have dinner seeing the good reviews. We’re lovers of Greek and Mediterranean food. Disappointing experience as the moussaka looked and tasted like it was previously frozen and reheated. String beans resembled something of a can and the squid pasta had an overpowering vinegar taste. Service was good hence Two stars as opposed to One.
Went with an old friend for dinner last night. I always rely on his judgement as he has lived in San Diego for decades. Again, he did not disappoint! We were greeted by the owner and our server was very friendly. I am used to the restaurants in Greek Town in Chicago and I felt the food and service was excellent.
We have wanted to find a Greek restaurant in downtown, and it was quite hard until a neighbor told us about this place. This restaurant is outstanding!! Rosalie is very pleasant, makes amazing cocktails and knows everyone. Authentic Greek food and apps is why we continue to come back to this place.
