Love these small, non chain restaurants. This one is special. There were six of us and all six loved their meals. Definitely worth the trip downtown.
We enjoyed every item ordered. The minestrone soup was outstanding, the eggplant with basil and mozzarella was baked in the most delicious marinara sauce. The lasagna was rich, creamy and melted in your mouth. Warm Italian style bread and whipped butter served along side was perfect for enjoying every bit of the delicious soup and sauces. Best part of the meal? The attentive service shown by our waiter Saini. He was both helpful and unobtrusive, treating us like we were longtime regulars, even though it was our first visit.
I visited again and again they exceeded my expectations. Wonderful service and food. The staff must love their jobs because their enthusiasm shows. The food is delectable. I will be back.
Great choice! Food was amazing, ambiance was fantastic and our waiter was the best! He deserves a special recognition for everything he did. A true gem.
Not fit for foodies. Fit for tourists with no tastebuds. 12 oâclock reservation, âchefâ did not arrive until 12:15. Good waiter, worst food weâve had in San Diego. Fish carpaccio was over salty, halibut smothered in a bitter yellow broken sauce. We asked the âchefâ if the sauce is what was intended. The reply was yes. No Italian chef would serve the lunch we had. $200 for lunch, the bread, wine and gelato were Italian. The food was not. Avoid this restaurant if you are a foodie.
