Love this spot! Grabbed a table outdoors for lunch with a friend. Thoroughly enjoyed everything that was brought to our table. I had passion fruit tea, hummus, pita bread, passion fruit salad with shrimp, and some baklava. Servings were huge so took home some salad for later. Service was great. Can’t wait to try some other menu items!
The service was excellent, we were seated quickly even though it was kind of busy. The waitress was attentive and really nice, the food was great and they have plenty of options for you to get the full flavor of the Mediterranean food. One of the things that stood out was the ice cream covers in halva and pistachio… One of the Entrées we ordered was the meat platter and that was nearly all taken home (easily shareable with 2-3 persons)
A very nice restaurant, it was very crowded on the weekend, however, the food came quickly. The staff are friendly, very welcoming and fast in service. It has indoor and outdoor dining. We ordered Hawawshi(egyptian version of stuffed peta bread with spiced ground beef) and the mix grill which comes with basmati rice and green salad, but we replaced it with a tabouleh(with extra fees).Food was very delicious, portions are ok and prices are expensive.
Amazing food and amazing staff. I will def be back next time I visit San D. Thanks!Dessert was turkish ice cream with baklava which was heavenly!!
Our first time here and so impressed! Everything was so delicious and be sure to come hungry, big portions! This place is a must try, the gyro plate was so good and the Arabic sald was so fresh. Hummus was course is a must have. ?
WOW. This place is a solid 10/10. Highly recommend their signature meat platter so you can try everything. The grilled meats are juicy, flavorful, and incredibly soft. The kebabs just melt in your mouth. The rice is warm and buttery while the pita bread is fresh and fluffy. The table next to us had the kabsa and that looked mouth watering as well. I’ll have to try it next time.
While in town for business a childhood friend who lives in the area suggested we grab dinner at this place. She said it had been a favorite of hers in the area when she worked nearby. The food was good and the staff very pleasant. We sat out on the patio (in front of the restaurant) which made for a lovely evening. I had the Fattoush salad and she had the chicken shawarma. But what I would definitely recommend leaving room for is the pistachio halva ice cream. IT WAS SO GOOD! Of note, apparently this restaurant used to sell alcohol but they no longer do. However, they kept their liquor license so they allow BYOB.
Went to San Diego for a long weekend in January to visit family stationed there. Aladdin was recommended by my wife's brother as a place we MUST eat while visiting. Coming from rural Northern Wisconsin we were excited to try something new and I'm glade we did. The food was wonderful
MUST TO TRY. Great Mediterranean food in SD. My all time favorites are garlic hummus, lamp chops, Falafel & Chicken Shawarma.
We went for a birthday dinner and the staff was so kind and helpful with all our questions and recommended dishes to suit our tastes. The food was absolutely delicious and very generous portions!
