This was the spiciest Thai food i have EVER TRIED IN MY LIFE So good, great workers and usually when we take my mom to any Asian restaurants, the food is not spicy enough and she has to put more. But from this, she was sweating from the heat 10/5 stars! Absolutely amazing would definitely recommend and come again!!

Food was pretty good but it was not listed that ALL Phad Thai dishes are the same price as the Tiger Prawns. $18 for chicken Phad Thai is quite steep.

I really enjoy their food, just be careful of spicy-level. They are extra hot, even for Thai food.I like their Khao Soi, Coconut Broth, and Larb.

Stoped here for an early dinner after a long afternoon touring the bay. Conveniently located a very few blocks from the Midway Museum, this restaurant serves a delicious blend of Thai and other SE Asian cuisines and is adjacent to a Stone Brewery beer garden so you can get a great beer (or a growler full) with your meal. You can sit order in the restaurant and sit in the beer garden and the food will be delivered to you. All the food was good but the best reviews were for the ginger fish which came as a HUGE portion and was absolutely luscious, even as leftovers the next day.

It was the closest thai restaurant near embarcadero....small place with lots of food variety on their menu. That time it's was only lady who does everything- from server, cashier and attendant. It took like 15-20 mins to get our food done.

Decent Thai food and I especially love that you can grab a seat and beer from Stone and order from there and they will bring the food over to you. My only complaint is their spice rating. I got medium and it felt like hot.

Auntie Linh (or Lyn), you've an absolute gem and AAHARN by Koon Thai is very blessed to have you. From start to finish, you made me feel like family, checked on me frequently, and just made me incredibly welcomed at the restaurant.I stumbled upon AAHARN by Koon Thai after a massive craving for some Thai food, and let's just say, AAHARN delivered. They delivered hard. The prices are a bit high, but you get an insanely generous portion. Plus, it's a Thai restaurant in Little Italy. I wasn't one bit surprised. My favorite dish of the evening was the Galangal Coconut Broth. Best. Freaking. Soup. Ever. I enjoyed this more than my entree. I could have this soup for days, if not weeks. Well seasoned. Well cooked. The toppings and meat were all fresh. I'm legit salivating thinking about this. If you're looking for an addition to your meal, and don't want to settle for a cliche appetizer, I strongly encourage adding this dish to your order. My entree of the evening was the Pad Thai Tiger Prawn. The noodles definitely reminded me of my time in Bangkok. Each ingredient was well-prepared, including the ground peanuts that had an alluring authentic taste and aroma. I was a bit so-so on the tiger prawns, as they were a tad bit smaller than I'm typically used to. They were also grilled, and you can smell the smoke and fumes in each and every bite. Again, I think it didn't add too much for me. Overall, the pad thai was decent, not the best I've had, but with the generous portions, I'd definitely consider ordering this again.Thank you, AAHARN by Koon Thai for such a lovely evening. Y'all are a great addition to the Little Italy community, and I can't wait to try some of your Auntie Linh (or Lyn), I'll see you again soon! I'm already referring my friends to this place!

Best Tom Yum soup and Thai Restaurant in the Downtown San Diego Little Italy area. Amazing real Thai Spices. I personally love spicy Thai food, they also have delicious zesty, non spicy items. I am not a huge fan of curry, and their’s is well above average. Any dish with seafood is excellent and worth every bite!

Portions big, flavors OK. Ordered Thai red curry and chicken larb, both very spicy levels (10). While the spice was definitely there, they didn't cook the additional chili with the dish. Instead, it was mixed and added after it was cooked to produce a spicy but hardly pleasant spicy flavor. For very spicy dishes, it is absolutely not the same when you add some chili powder or fresh chili after the preparation of the dish vs incorporating and cooking with the chili as an integral part. Something about simmering spices that make a big difference. Food for thought.

Loved it! Absolutely delicious with fantastic service. Nice patio with a large fire table and beer available next door to the restaurant. Pic show only the beer but the curry was wonderful. Spicy, so choose your spice level carefully.
