Banh mi straight out of Saigon. This place can't be beat for authentic ingredients and flavors. The loaded-with-pork fried egg rolls are the icing on the cake and not to be missed
These egg rolls are so good. I need to know why they taste like this. I ate 20 by myself but I equate that to eating 20 wings or something. It's really nothing. Love the egg rolls, you owe it to yourself to at least try them.
An awesome place run by amazing people!! Get some egg rolls (I prefer the darker rice paper over the more common, lighter-colored wonton wrapper), Vietnamese Coffee, and a Bahn MI Sandwich. Cash only FYI
The BEST eggrolls in town!! They're the hit of every potluck. The service is fast and friendly as well.
We stopped to pick up fried egg rolls. They had pork egg rolls available. Normally they also offer a veggie version. Quick service. They do offer a diverse Vietnamese menu. Would recommend giving A Chou a try.
Love the crispy fried spring rolls here. Fried chicken wings here are pretty good too. Also tried their small chicken curry. Portion was too small for the price though.
We've been patronizing this mom n pop Vietnamese spot for years!!! They have the best pork rolls around. When we come visit San Diego from SF Bay Area. We bring a cooler with Ice packs and order 100pcs of frozen pork rolls!
Used to be the ideal spot to go to before work or after work. Price has gone up quite a bit within this past few months. The two son that are always there are pretty consistent with pricing. The lady owner on the other hand is not. Current eggroll price is $1.05 and $1.15. There been times where she charged $1.25 for each, doesn't matter what kind you get. Also, if you spend $15.01 and hand her a $20, she'll short change you by giving you $4.95. She will take your .04 rather than give you the .01. It happened numerous times, so I just stopped going.
This place is my go to for Egg Rolls. I usually order party trays, they don't take phone orders, but I promise if you order 100 egg rolls, you won't wait past 10 minutes. YES, they are that quick, and it taste great. Parking is terrible, I usually end up parking on the street, and at times, that can be full as well.
The egg rolls! These are one of my favorite snacks! I can taste the years of experience that it takes to make egg rolls this good.I found out about this place online. A Chau’s was voted one of the best places for egg rolls so I decided to test that theory.I went on a weekday. The parking lot was crowded and full so I parked at the restaurant next door and walked over to A Chau. There was a small line of about 4 people ahead of me. The line moves fast. There are lots of authentic food items to choose from but I just went with the egg rolls. You got 2 bumpy and 2 regulars. What’s the difference? The texture. The egg rolls are always fresh when I get them. They are well seasoned and cooked to perfection.I don’t know if there’s a sauce that goes to it. If so I’ve never had it.
