Really great service! Chris was our waiter, and he did a fantastic job. Very attentive, and polite. Will be coming back.

Good looking, open plan hotel bar with limited seating and very high markup drinks. It's basically a "Let's grab a drink downstairs before we go out into the Gaslamp" kinda place.

Excellent food.

Spent the weekend at the HardRock hotel in San Diego and everyone was amazing from the valet to the check in and all the staff. The rooms are very clean and super confortable. We had an amazing room that overlook the pool and deck top, room #1139. You can see downtown lit up at night. I would definitely ask for this room again. In the evening we had drinks and appetizers at Nobu restaurant and the food is out of this world “ a must try is the Rock shrimp” We had Breakfast before heading out in Maryjane’s and the food was great and good size portions. And again the service amazing I’ve traveled to many places nationally and internationally and the HardRock hotel San Diego is one of the best places I’ve stayed Thank you to all the staff that made our stay fun and memorable, we will definitely come back soon

Don’t waste your money on a Woodstock Suite. The view of Gaslamp was the top of another building’s A/C units. I called to inquire once we checked in and was told all that is guaranteed is a private balcony. The word private should not be included as the room faces a whole wall of windows of other rooms. The room was not spectacular other than some extra space. There was not much upkeep with rust and wear in the shower tiles and fraying carpet. It was disappointing to pay so much for what was advertised as a luxury suite for our anniversary only to be in a subpar room.

What an amazing experience at a business conference. Hospitality was impeccable. Rooms are awesome and the vibe is, too! Great meetings team and the food was AMAZING! Highly recommend, didn’t have a single bad experience, nothing to complain about at all!

The room was awesome, loved the restaurants, pool and memorabilia. Did get to hit up the pool and jacuzzi before the 21+ pool party started and we had to go with our baby. We signed up for VIP which wasn’t worth it, two ‘free’ drinks for $50 More dollars, eh nothing else…? Thought it’d make valet free or something so we felt more convenience. Won’t do it again.

Travelling in Covidtimes presents challenges and I am sure that operating a hotel in these times is difficult too. The strain is certainly showing at the San Diego HardRock. The help was scarce, our room was not well cleaned and there was no bar service or drinks after 3 pm. No pool bar. No snacks by the pool. No room service. Nada. It was as if a staff of three were running the whole operation and that staff was stoned to be able to make it through the day. I suppose I should be commending them for staying open at all. They sure don't have the conventions they are used to. But they might do a better job of cleaning rooms. Once should never check-in and find poop stains on your toilet and a broken towel bar in the batrhoom.

Poppin' spot ?????

Decided to spend the weekend in San Diego with friends. The Staff is super friendly and helpful. The Hotel is within walking distance of everything that interested us. The pool party was amazing! Will definitely be back!
