I keep trying to like this local establishment but again they disappoint. When you pay 40$ for a pizza you expect that they can make it correctly, instead the crust is burnt and the sausage missing. One previous occasion the forgot the sauce (how does that happen?). Another soggy uncooked crust, this time, no sausage. When I called the store… we can give you five dollars off on the next pizza. Really? No thanks! No won’t ever be back.
My husband and I have ordered at this location multiple times per week on a regular basis for months. Unfortunately when I called to order tonight, I asked for the exact same thing I ordered yesterday (everything is kept on file) and when the manager repeated my order back from yesterday, he did not repeat it accurately so we created a new order to ensure there was no confusion (with the same thing I ordered yesterday). When it arrived, it was not correct, so I called to advise and ask them to please deliver it as ordered and they said OK. Then the manager called back to dispute what I ordered *which actually took me 5x longer to order than yesterday due to the manager taking the order not listening and talking the entire time I was trying to repeat my order... which I repeat... they had in the system...from LAST NIGHT. He became defensive and very rude and sadly our business with ZPizza is now concluded. It's a shame... because up to this point, it is the BEST pizza we have ever had. But, respect for others trumps flavor.In response to the owner: it would not let me reply to your request. The order id is AABKBKT8AEAH you should be able to pull the profile attached to the order and see what we ordered yesterday vs. what was delivered today. The person who took the order is the one who us called back after I calmly called to advise of the mix-up (because we still wanted our delicious pizza) and request a replacement, he was very defensive and regarding his order taking, and claimed to be the manager.
Extremely poor customer service from the manager at this location, which is super disappointing as we have frequented this location and never had an issue prior. The manager took the order incorrectly and the wrong pizza was delivered. After calling and advising the location of the error, the manager called back to defend his accurate order taking rather than resolve the issue.

The pizza was fine but their website charged the wrong card using a saved one instead of the one I entered in. I called the store immediately after placing the order and the guy on the phone said he could not fix it then and refused to cancel the order so I could just reorder. However, he promised and assured me he would call me back to fix it but never did. Not a reflection on the food but I was expecting better service.
Best pizza ever. I miss this place soo much. We have relocated to east coast in north carolina. Let me tell you can't find a place like zpizza anywhere out here. For those who are lucky to still be in San clemente enjoy the great food cause there no other place like it.

Recently ordered from z pizza. Totally screwed up our order. No sauce on both pizzas. Wrong dressing on salad. Called and complained. They said since we ordered. From grub hub they would not do a refund. Since when do you pass the blame to grib hub? Never again. You lost a customer
