Great burgers! Excellent fresh homemade ingredients and creative toppings and alternatives. Casual outdoor seating. They serve beer and wine.
Decent veggie burger (quinoa patty) and really good fries!
Got the quinoa and white bean burger. Delicious and handmade. Easy to make 100% vegan with no mayo or cheese. Any place that has Cheerwine advertised immediately makes this Carolinian want to go.Small parking lot with a handful of spots but there Is street parking behind it. Handful of indoor tables with more outside on the patio.
Good craft beer selection. They have fries now, which is a bonus. The expanded patio seating is nice. I had the Chili Cheese Fries and found the chili to be more on the tomato/sweet side, which is fine, but I think I would have preferred something meatier/spicier. I know they put the cheese UNDERNEATH the chili, but I prefer mine on top as the quantity of cheese used seemed low. Burgers and dogs are the highlight here for sure.
Good but a little pricey for a burger shack. Two burgers, one with fries, Iced Tea and a Root Beer was $40.00. Burgers were standard quarter pound. Best thing about it? They will cook medium rare!!!
Delicious and friendly! Loved the chicken sandwich and my son loved the hot dog! I love that you can choose your own meat and toppings!! Loved the outdoor seating. Would definitely return. Had to try the beets everyone raved about which were yummy!
I stopped by here the other day to show my boyfriend where I had once helped get the place going as a cook, creating and making the what was once pretty good food... To my massive disappointment turned disgust, I was served an uncooked veggie burger, had to go ask for condiments to help the hardened old fries out... this was after being told they were out of portobello burger, of which we were given sliced up (what looked like buttons or baby bellas) shrooms... these were not burgers of any kind. My advice is this to the owner, Brian ( who is a very good chef, who fired a decent cook on her day off over his error, not hers)... to maybe remember that end of the night service should be as good as the first order in. Especially on a chilly night, with nobody else to cook for but 2 vegetarians with nostalgia and water under the bridge. Went to bring some business back with well meaning intentions, only to be given a nonpatty of veggie slop (that's not sauce in the pic btw, that's raw egg) and some slices of leftover mushrooms thrown on a bun posing as a burger... fried were hideous... slouchy staff mirrors the food they cooked. It's too bad. I wanted to write a positive review, I truly did... guess Rider's Club will always be somewhere that I used to know.
Fantastic burgers. The meat itself is ALWAYS perfectly cooked to order and delicious. The toppings selection is great (hello... havarti cheese!), the fries are tasty, and pickled beets!The chili is very tasty, if that's your thing.
WORLDS GREATEST HAMBURGERS!!!! You talk about freshness!!! This quaint place is located right off the main drag thru San Clemente… the outdoor patio is so perfect and yes, a view of the ocean in the distance. Can’t wait to go back and try other things in their menu. Fries are a plenty and definitely we will share one order next time when it’s the two of us. The employees were very kind and patient with us as we decided what to order. You will not be disappointed!!!
