Bummer. Went once before and it was great, far less than stellar this time. $80+ for 2 Lobster Rolls that were mostly bread w/chips, beans. Also, the crab cakes should be called crab cake bites. The price wasn’t the problem, it just wasn’t equal to the value.

No doubt foods are yummy- lobster rolls, lobster bisque, and the beans! But they are quite pricey for how small the portions are and no true dine in sevices (have to sit at the table right next to parking).Small parking lot to share with other stores; it is not easy to find a spot in the lot but street parkings were not too difficult. We will still come to support local business occasionally when we are in the area.

I was craving clam chowder and this place had good reviews so we stopped here for lunch. Let me start off by saying the owner is absolutely amazing! As a former business owner, I can say that is how you do business! With a smile, very polite and welcoming. I loved his personality and wish nothing but the best for him and his family <3Now for the food, oh my goodness it was some of the best clam chowder I have ever had! The mac and cheese was amazing as well as the lobster roll! Food was made with quality ingredients and lots of LOVE! I would love a place like this in Tehachapi! I can say that everytime I am in, or passing by, the area… this is my go to spot! Thank you so much for an amazing experience and wonderful food. You truly are an amazing person and know how to run a business. Thank you

When my boyfriend went to go pick up our order, the owner said that he must be a good boyfriend because he's picking up food and I would highly agree. This restaurant is phenomenal. We ordered the roll Trio for 2 and everything was remarkable. The freshness of the food and the amount for the price is right on the money. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are passing through or have lived here for years.

The lobster roll is amazing, I highly recommend it. The guy running this place really chill and gives out salt water taffy. Definitely check it out if you're in the area!

We got lobster rolls and lobster bisque. It was all to die for. The lemonade was great too. The service was fantastic. Wish we were local so we could go all the time!

Excellent rolls.. nothing more to say!

The lady was friendly and offered us a sample of the clam chowder which was quite tasty. Authentic New England flavor. Likewise, the Lobster Bisque was quite good with discernible sized pieces of lobster meat. But the lobster roll was a notch below and for the price, was quite disappointing. The brioche hot-dog roll that held the meat was excellent, but there wasn’t enough lobster and the whole effect was bland and offered very little lobster satisfaction. I’ll cop to bring a snob about lobster as I’m from New England, but my California-born pal didn’t think much of it either. The nice lady said we could get a drink at the Mexican restaurant so we sipped on excellent Margueritas from there while we had our Lobster Shack meal. That would all have been great if the lobster roll had been better.

Quick stop in Little Italy to eat lobster rolls that some people raved about. The lobster was fresh and the roll was not too heavy and it held a lot of lobster. Overall very good.

Man, those pics looks good and nothin what’s in the container.First good news, your lobster roll will be done in 30sec flat. How come? That’s because all someone has to do is reach in the fridge, grab some lobster and put it on a sweet bun. Voila, you’re good! Not even that slice of lemon.Bonus if you love your roll cold and bland. Also on up side, sides may be sold out but you’re free to get not one, but two (yay!) tiny bags of chips “cape cod” brand. Ya know, cause MA is where lobsters are.Alright, size is okay, but that’s it. It’s basic and bland people who think that’s a 5-star roll deserves your pity. Definitely not a value.
