The Habit is a great place to get a good burger and onion rings or shake. Normally it's fairly quick, good food and if you order online or app they will have your order ready when indicated. But unfortunately last few times we've been there they have been slow, not meeting times (15+ min past said time), appeared unorganized & food quality has seemed to suffer. I say this because my last burger was very rare and so was my daughter's. The rings, fries or beans were good. Not certain if staffing issues have contributed, but I hope they can get back to previous high quality.
Don't order through doordash or you will wait 45 + mins only going 3 miles! I don't go in there bc the employees and managers are rude and miserable!!
They do not have a phone desk to make complaints, but I don’t blame the location or the cooks I blame the manager(s) who do not make sure when people are allergic to dairy that dairy does not end up on the food, with all of this being said I hope they change and in the future try to respect their customers enough to make sure this mistake doesn’t happen, but if they continue this behavior I’m sure they will go out of business eventually

Wowza I tried the grilled chicken with a the half and half fries / sweet potato which were soooo good and a unsweetened fruit tea I smashed this meal down fast lol and will return again very friendly staff and online ordering so when you arrive it’s already hot and don’t forget to ask for the secret sauces? I hand no idea but yum

I love the food it's delicious, but it's never consistent at least not at the habit in Dana Point in Ocean Ranch. There's been several times where my food has been raw and missing items it seems that they got a new manager and it's not as good as it used to be. It's disappointing I hope it'll get back to the way it was. The habit in San Clemente was fantastic! The service was great and the food was hot, delicious and spot on. I would suggested going to the San Clemente Habit before Dana Point.

Cashier was good and funny kept the line moving. She was busy. Food was good. Wait was average as it was a bit busy.
I ordered a salad which I’ve had many times before. I ordered through the app and when i picked up my salad it was in a sandwich container. This container was obviously much smaller (roughly half) the size of the salad bowl. I asked why the container was so small and was told they were out of bowls. Then as i explain how the bowl is visibly larger, 2 of the people in charge told me i was wrong and “its the same weight”. At the same time, they pointed at the stack of bowls on the counter while explaining its the same size (woops). After long day at work I left very frustrated and after getting home and tossing the salad i refused to think this was the same amount of food. I went back to the store, asked them to hand me the bowl and i poured the salad into the bowl which ended up only filling up about half way. I asked the management to explain to me how i was wrong about the amount of food and i was again told it’s the same amount! I argued that the bowl is usually completely full, not half. So i asked why i didn’t get a bowl which they clearly had a visible stack on the counter and i was told they didn’t have lids so it would need to be plastic wrapped to cover it. Ok fine, so They remake the salad and even put a lid on the bowl. The guy then takes the bowl to the back and wraps it in plastic. I ended up getting a full bowl with a lid and plastic wrap! What’s going on here? I absolutely love the habit and tell everyone about how it’s my favorite place. Giving a 1 star is not what i want to do but this is completely uncalled for. I wrote a review like this before i went back to the store. As they made my salad i felt bad and deleted the review. Now that i can see i was completely lied to by two of the management after being told i was wrong, this review is completely necessary. The habit is great but this is beyond the food, they purposely gave me a smaller portion and refused to own up to it after proving them wrong.
