Service was just ok, but the donuts are absolutely incredible. Like many socal-ians, I don't mess around when it comes to donuts. We've got very high donut standards and they've got to be from the little mom and pop shops that all around here. And I've been to many, many different shops. These donuts here are among the best I've ever had. Melt in your mouth goodness. If I had to imagine the perfect tasting donut, these would be it. Wow. I mean oh my god..... Good luck finding parking in the weekend though. But worth a walk
Really good donuts! I love trying different donut shops and this is the first one review worthy. I'll definitely be back for the glazed donut holes, my boyfriend agreed they're the best we've ever had. Friendly service too!
Your typical mom and pop Chinese donut shop more expensive and lower grade pastries than average run of the mill donut shop.I really feel sorry for those people that give this place 5 stars and Call it amazing these poor people don’t know what a donut or a pastry should really taste like
Pricey for donuts but that is pretty much everything in San Clemente. A good variety of donuts, croissants, coffee, and fresh squeezed OJ.
My 1st job .... Was frying ? with my brother... At a ? shop... Yrs and yrs ago... THESE ARE THE MOST FUKNG AMAZING ? IVE EVER HAD ! Cake ? with chocolate frosting.... Crunchy outside and soft / moist perfection inside... Frosting is heavenly, similar to something your grandmother's would make and when she died... She took the entire secret with her . Only she didn't, she left it with this guy and his family ! Go here and buy some to take back home too .. I'm visiting from Florida and I'm driving 30 min to buy more b4 I fly back ! ???????????????????????... I'm coming for you Mr. D-Nut Grrrrr

OMG! I am sad that I don't live close by to this classic donut shop. After a terrible stay at a nearby "hotel" that advertised a continental breakfast and didn't have anything, not even coffee. ?The Surfin Donut House made my day! I ordered a breakfast bagel with bacon, egg and cheese. It was made quickly and very delicious! Excellent fresh bagel and perfectly cooked bacon. If I lived close by I would be here quite often and it seemed that many do. I saw many people come for their donuts and drinks. Very popular place!Fast and friendly service.I also got a tasty hazelnut iced coffee and took a Sunday only blueberry fritter for my drive back to Las Vegas. I took a sample bite of the fritter and I nearly devoured it on the spot! Sadly I live many hundreds of miles away, but next time when I visit San Clemente I SURELY will be back for more high quality baked goods from Surfin' Donut House! 5☆☆☆☆☆ ??????♂️?♀️
