Great Italian food. The rolls are worth the trip. Came hot, fresh, and wonderful taste. We will be back.
They just sent me 15 bucks worth of well done, hard stale rolls. They are so good Typically…. These things are like free range biscuits.
Please update your hours. We showed up at 2:30 on Saturday and was turned away because they were closed for 25 more minutes. There was people seated inside. Update business hours please.
The food here is incredible, definitely some of the best Italian I’ve ever had. The staff is friendly and attentive and the food comes so quickly! Loved my experience here.
We stopped here on our visit in Dana Point. Worth the stop. Romano's pasta & mixed berry salad were so tasty ? the bread they give on the side is top notch. Place was busy on a Tuesday night, understandable given how delicious the food was

It's bad. Pasta, pizza, salad you name it. Not just bad Italian food, but food in general. I'm giving 2 stars because it's not the only place around here that microwaves hot garbage and calls it Italian food.
Server took forever. Asked for water which we didn’t get until 2 other families got theirs and YES we were there way before they got there?Ordered lasagna and Seafood pasta. Ate bread and waited for water…Guess what No more Seafood. Ordered cannelloni. About 40 mins later got COLD Lasagna. Sent it back with the Busboy because Server nowhere to be found. Got my reheated Lasagna and Yup COLD. Sooo disappointed BUT they said No charge for cannelloni because they ran out of Seafood. Not going back regardless Because Food SUCKED??
Go to Romano's!!! DELICIOUS food made fresh every day for an extremely reasonable price (especially considering the very generous portions), family owned & worth supporting. Best Italian food by far I've had in this area.
The best Italian in San Clemente, Bar none. The staff are God's gift to the world. They work incredibly hard and are so friendly, we don't deserve them. And every dish is a work of art, every bite a sensational and beautiful memory. I will continue to give them my business for as long as I am alive.
