The menu was limited and the food bland. Furthermore it was expensive. The bill for 4 people for lunch (4 mains, 2 beers and 2 glasses of wine) was $126.
The waiter was inattentive, including never bringing water that we asked for numerous times. The kitchen missed our request for egg on the Thai salad and put way too much lemon that it was inedible. The rest of the food was great.
Food was delicious. Server was friendly, but she was very busy. We got a patio table with a view of the pier. Very nice and glad we made a reservation.
The specialty drinks are of the charts. Incredible atmosphere and service! If your in town stop by you won't be disappointed!
We had a perfect table on the deck during sunset. It was beautiful. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was great. We will definitely be going back.
Grilled cheese and tomato bisque 10/10. Grilled chicken sandwich with bacon, cheese, avocado, lettuce, tomato 10/10. CANT WAIT to go back here the next time we’re in San Clemente. PERFECT LUNCH SPOT.
Had a reservation but had to get a person's attention to even notice we were in line. They kept taking others until I asked why are we being skipped we had a reservation. No one ever asked our names etc. Sat down to eat...ordered 2 appetizers and 4 drinks. Appetizers came out fast but no server, or no drinks. After we finished our appetizers we asked if we could have our drinks. It still took a while to get so we just asked for the check then went to eat on the pier and had great service! Sucks we always wanted to try this place. Never felt welcomed at all. Goodluck
We had Louis /Louie as a server and he was great! The stuffed dates were to die for and I had the beet salad. Best Bert salad Iâve ever had. Tons of beets in it-usually itâs more lettuce but this was wonderful! My husband had the Lobster Grilled cheese which was phenomenal! We will be back!!!!
Let me begin by saying the location is great. Being across the street from the pier is so convenient to take out-of-town folks to get some food after a nice walk on the pier. I chose it because I could book a reservation for our group of 7 and have piece of mind. That said, because of the size of our group, we were seated inside. With a band. Playing a loud harmonica. It was nearly impossible to have a conversation, but we did sing along. The food was okay. I had the fish tacos, and the fish had a nice crispy breading. But the side? Tacos served with fries. Huh? So, overall, the food was just okay. If itâs an experience youâre after, just go put your name in at Fishermanâs first thing. Then take a little walk. The food is pretty equivalent.
Such a beautiful location, great music. It had such potential. Took 30 minutes for the waitress to come to our table. Another 30 minutes to get our drinks. 45 minutes to get 3 of our 4 appetizers. 45 minutes to get our meals 2 of 6 orders were some thing completely different than what was ordered (2 sandwiches vs 2 salmon and vegetables). The food was goodâ¦but not worth the pain of trying to get it. Ended up bringing the salmon after weâd paid and were leaving. So sad. Took us nearly 2 1/2 hours to get our orders⦠it wasnât overly busy and seemed to be the same experience through the restaurant. Someone needs to get some management and server/kitchen training to this place stat! . A really great location, nice ambience- but destined for failure if they donât fix the service issues.
