Brick is one of the kindest people I’ve met. Wonderful local crowd and friendly service. We come here every night we’re in town.

My favorite spot for drinks and stand-up comedy shows in San Clemente, Ca! You guys know how to party! Shout out to Owen and Natalie for treating everyone like family and Mistress K and the Future is Female Comedy crew for the great shows!
I love this bar! The cocktails are strong, they have a good selection of beer, and the prices are very reasonable (less $ than other bars in SC). A great bonus is they have live music/bands. The sound is really good, thanks to Owen doing an excellent job running sound. And the owner Brick is simply awesome! Such a nice guy. Definitely go to Knuckleheads, have some drinks, and support live music!
I watched the female bartender who was working the shift with her boyfriend “tag team , isn’t good for business! #commonsense” I watched her pick and play with the ice in the bar back all night while she was just slouching chatting with her regulars. Going back and forth taking money to the till . Then going back and pecking away at the ice chest with her BARE FILTHY FINGERS (that even if she just washed like a surgeon STILL DONT BELONG playing and pecking in the ice chest ? But get this…., I asked her to please hand me a hand napkin (which should have been handed to me with my drink btw!) AND SHE WALKED AWAY SAYING “I can’t I hand you a napkin for health reasons!” To which I reply:” but you can stick you hands in that ice all night like you’re twirling your hair!” Let’s just say she insisted she runs a clean A+ passing grade with the health department establishment! But the look on her face when I said,”well, then you will not mind me posting a video of the place then will you ???? She just froze, and said “we’ll just so you know I haven’t been in the bathroom since Wednesday!”? To which I came out after taking my video and said “ it’s your lucky day! That bathroom hasn’t been cleaned in 2 months! And believe me, I have way to traumatic of a description of growing up in foster care and having 25 siblings that I used to clean up after ,for you to handle hearing how I know it’s been well over 6 weeks since this bathroom has been cleaned.????? #divesrespecttheirvisitors #thisisjustSCScummmmmmbagz
Great bar even if you don't drink! They often have open mic nights or live music in their large open patio out back (that's fenced in) and sometimes a neighborhood cat comes to visit! :). They have seating and heat lamps out back but you can also sit inside or there is a small area out front too. The staff and owners are very nice! A great neighborhood bar to hang out in if it's just you or you are meeting up with/bringing friends.
The epitome of a perfect dive bar. Everything you could ever ask for. The coldest beer I've ever had. The friendliest people. Good vibes all around.

We went to Knuckleheads for the first time last Saturday. It’s got a great atmosphere, stiff drinks & live music. We’ll be back soon!!
