Saturday June 25, 2022 at 11:15 am.very satisfied with the food and service we got. Gustavo who was our server was amazing. He recommended us dishes to try and we were satisfied with the ones he recommended. He was very polite and professional. The only thing that was I was not satisfied with was the hostes. As soon as we entered they did not say anything. They had low energy and was not welcoming.Overall the food and our server was outstanding. Too bad I couldn’t say that about the hostes. I hope they treat customers better.

We needed a place to relax and have fun.We went to the "Fisherman's Restaurant in San Clemente, CA . We ordered the Mozzarella and Calamari sticks. They were very good and was hot when we got it. We also ordered some clam chowder each. It was really good. We will be back very soon.We had a great view of the beach, waves and watched a train go by as well.

Lovely view of the San Clemente pier which is where this restaurant is located, and that was about the highlight of the meal. The food was quite unimpressive but perhaps it was our mistake in ordering the Salmon tacos. In Southern California you'd expect a restaurant that serves fish tacos to know how to season and prepare tacos. But not this place, at least not on the day we had lunch here. The salmon was tasteless, like it had no seasonings at all, although the fish itself was fresh. The tortillas were the type of flour tortillas that you'd buy pre-packaged in a grocery store. For the price of the meal you'd think they could splurge, at least try to be a little more authentic and buy good quality tortillas and seasonings. So if you go, and if you happen to know what good fish tacos are supposed to taste like, be sure you don't order the salmon tacos here.

Excellent place to eat and spend time enjoying the ocean. Food is great! We had the fish taco dinner and calamari sandwich. Both are large enough plates to share! Food was great! The oyster shots are also delicious! Service was very very good. Very nice place to sit and enjoy the sites!!

Wonderful experience here. Went with friends several times now. Their vegetables side is typically very good. Unfortunately my last trip they seemed to forgot how to cook them.I recommend a visit if you are looking for a great restaurant by the ocean with lots of views and privacy. The prices for eating basically on the ocean are good.We have been very happy with the fish choices and very well prepped and served.

We had one of the four options for the feast special! We chose for 2 people $41 each person...so worth it! Started with a bucket of steamed Manila clams...omg! Second course were salads. Third course were both red and white chowder. Last course was fresh grilled swordfish with a side of rice Pilaf and mixed vegetables. Not to mention the best sourdough bread to start! We highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you!

Bar Service experience: The drinks are STRONG and flavorful, the fish tacos were deliciously made. The environment is great, great view, great vibes, and the service was impeccable due to the very attentive bartender. 10/10 will definitely come again with friends. Keep it up!!!

ADA Access: No longer compliant. The manager Chris is ignorant regarding Federal law and continues to block handicap entrance with tables. (It’s been law since 1990.)

You are paying for location. This restaurant is actually split in two parts at the entrance to the pier. Both had huge lineups and the reviews were good so I had higher expectations. We got into the Oyster bar. The setting at sunset was really lovely but you can see sunset without eating here. Service was substandard. Food was tasty but expensive for food that is served in plastic baskets. Halibut fish and chips was good but small portion for $27. Fries were not hot. Long wait for drinks, 3 asks for water that never came. This is not a fine dining establishment. I was disappointed in my experience here. I would recommend you watch sunset standing on the beach and then go elsewhere for dinner.

We stopped here for lunch on our way back to LA and were not disappointed. We had oysters for an appetizer and while they were actually from New Jersey they still tasted fresh. I had the grilled white sea bass and my husband had the seafood fettuccine - both were delicious!
