My Girl and I came in and split a Hot Italian Sandwich. It was excellent. Bread was perfect. We also enjoyed the valentine's day decorations. We look forward to going back.

We were in San Clemente overnight to break the drive from LA to San Diego and spent the day after exploring the coastal path and the Pier. When it came to lunch time we were looking at the main shopping street and came across Cafe Calypso. What a find! Food was awesome and the place itself is just gorgeous. Our thanks to the chap that chased us up the street with our forgotten shopping :-)

The quiche was excellent and so was the 2 wraps we tried. Fresh food at good prices. Staff is friendly. Having to order then go sit down and never get checked on isn't ideal because it gives you a feel of a cheap fast food place when the food is much better than fast food.

As always, the Calypso is a true paradise! We've been going there for many years and love the awesome people there and great, healthy food. A must visit anytime you're in San Clemente on Del Mar. The old hotel is very cool too, except it's apartments now days.

Located on the patio of the old Hotel San Clemente, you can drink a coffee, share some good food and watch the world of San Clemente pass by.

My.new favorite spot! The indoor and outdoor atmosphere is so welcoming (and fun! Decorated for the holidays) and relaxing--it feels like home. The food is SOOO tasty: breakfast sandwiches healthy lunch wraps, warmed up pastries and fresh smoothies and a great coffee selection--I wouldn't go anywhere else now that I found Cafe Calypso! Plus, the staff were so helpful and friendly and nice from start to finish, it was a great visit for my girls, my mom and myself. We'll definitely be back to explore the rest of the menu and enjoy the comfortable, homey environment ❤️

Awesome food! Very quaint atmosphere.

The service wasn't fantastic nor was the food, below average. Very disappointing. My fiance returned a less than adequate coffee and the lady behind the counter was very impolite about it.

The lady behind the counter was very rude. They are also overpriced. The food was good but we ordered a few fresh orange juices and it tested awful. When I took them back she refused to change it to a fresh juice and said they are fresh and showed me one of those orange juice from Costco which you don’t even have to keep in the refrigerator. I had to order different drinks and pay for them all. Won’t go back!

Incredibly friendly service great food selection excellent coffee reasonable prices and a beautiful patio.
