Husband gives 2 thumbs up!We sat in the covered patio area which was a nice indoor -outdoor compromise and plenty warm. Ambience was a tad loud, but you can hold a conversation and not really hear what the table next to you is talking about. Husband didn't like the slats in the table; he almost spilled salsa on his good shoes.We ordered margaritas with one of them discounted for happy hour. We liked that we could actually taste the tequila.For food we got a steak burrito and carnitas plate. Food was well prepared, delicious and served quickly.Service was professional and friendly. Props to whoever made the decision to place us next to another family with a baby! We both had very well behaved babies, but that kind of thing can determine whether a baby-less customer will return.We're looking forward to returning with our friends and family soon!
Have eaten there three times, twice for lunch and tonight for dinner. Lunch has been great both times (5 stars)...dinner not so much, which was sad because I really wanted my family to like it as this was their first time. Other friends have also experienced inconsistency between lunch and dinner. There was way too much seasoning/salt on the chips and food that we found unpleasant. We would come back again, but likely just for lunch.
Had the mahi fish tacos and they were delicious. will hit up this place again when in the area

Went for lunch on Sunday. My husband had the salmon tacos. Within an hour of leaving he started feeling nauseous. Came home, he has been sick the whole rest of the day. When I called and spoke to a gentleman manager, he said oh you’re the first one to call I’ll let the kitchen know. And that was it. What a waste of a $60 lunch. Will never be back again and would never recommend this place.
My husband and I had dinner at Asada Cantina February 24. Brian helped us get seated at a booth instead of a table, even though we didn't have a reservation and we arrived at the height of the dinner hour. Our server, Genesis was friendly and efficient. The food was delicious. My husband had the Signature Carne Asada plate and I had the Filet Mignon Tacos. My tacos were DELICIOUS. The meat was tender and tasty. My husbands carne plate was equally DELICIOUS. We will definitely go back to Asada Cantina the next time we visit San Clemente, and I hope Genesis is our server again. We recommended the restaurant to friends who were also visiting San

Lovey ambiance and delicious food! Lots of choices for pescatarians and vegetarians. When the salsa is good, you can bet the food will be, and their salsa is excellent! Can hardly wait to go here again. The food was awesome.
Went to lunch on Sunday, four adults. My husband was the only one that had salmon tacos. About an hour after he was finished eating, he started to feel nauseous. We left to drive back to Yorba Linda. He was fine before we went to eat, then was horribly sick the rest of the day. I called and spoke to a manager, who said that no one else had said anything about the salmon tacos and he would tell the kitchen. Terrible customer service the way I was just brushed off. I think our $60.00 lunch bill was the biggest waste!
