The BEST sushi in town. Both the food and the staff are extraordinary. I order there weekly and the food NEVER dissapoints. It iss a busy spot but worth a reservation. Price is fair

This was some of the BEST quality of AUTHENTIC Japanese food and fresh sushi I have ever had on the main land. Reminded me of a little sushi place I went to in Roppongi years ago. The sushi chef clearly is one of the best in the world. Most delicious Lomi Lomi I have ever had - better than on the North Shore ! incredible Agedashi Tofu ! And the Negihama roll was the freshest I have ever had.The service was fantastic ?? I always appreciate when I can order Japanese food in Japanese, and being welcomed into the restaurant with proper Japanese by all the staff, most served to be close to trilingual or at least conversational in English, Japanese and Spanish which is the perfect touch for Southern California.One thing I would have done differently was come hungrier so I could have eaten more.This place deserves 5 Star Rating x100 !Gochisosamadeshita !

Delicious poke bowl, rainbow roll, and crunchy roll. Their sushi rice is the best tasting sushi rice I've had in South OC.

Had the chicken teriyaki bowl, was really good. My buddy loved the poke bowl.

I love their sushi but they don’t answer their phones it’s so annoying they should just have online ordering it would make life so much easier.

Good place to get some sushi. Service is really good and prompt. They have take out and dine in, bar seating and tables, and sushi is a solid A+ value.I’ve noticed some people complain about service and times. While I never had a bad experience, people just need to be little more flexible with restaurants these days.

Food outstanding but clearly the owner hasn’t trained his crew on basic service. I knew the service was slow going in and sure enough it didn’t fail. Coming from the restaurant industry you can tell they haven’t a clue with basic meet and greet service as well. On the other hand the sushi quality is the best in San Clemente. Just need to tighten up a few things

If it was possible I would give this Sushi "restaurant" a -5 stars. As a former restaurant manager; I understand difficulties and things going wrong. We ordered waters and an appetizer then we had to flag a separate waiter down to even order our food. After 30mins I checked with our initial waiter to make sure our order was received by the kitchen; he replies yes and informs me that they have a lot of orders; I reciprocated the message to my party however 2 parties came and went with meals; drinks, and all and still nothing. I flag Our waiter down again asking if the cooks have even began to prepare our order (mind you consistent entirely of raw fish) he replies no, I inform him we will be leaving and going to another restaurant because my party of 4 was tired of the poor service and ultimately not having our food we inform our server of our decision just so he can pull the tickets form the line; he replies no worries and I will clear that for you guys. we replied have a great night and walk out. We then go to the store next to it to buy some snacks for our house since we still haven't had dinner; the manager and another server come running out of the "restaurant" as if we had dined and dashed. The server was quick the catch an attitude and informs my party that the other server didn't communicate that information to her. Clearly a business structure problem here that needs to be addressed immediately; it might be better if they just close up shop all together they provide no asset to the local community. I own millions of dollars in local real estate which draws in many out of town guests year round; I will make note for all guests to avoid this restaurant entirely. This was a very unfortunate experience and ultimately handled poorly by the staff; they may want to look into unemployment or another job because this "restaurant" has no business being open and serving the public with all the flaws they currently have.
