Incredible brunch spot!!! The food was so delicious! We were seated fast, great staff, and our food came out fast with no issues. We ordered the loco moco, eggs Benedict, and chicken and waffles. I also saw that their menu has bottomless mimosas. They have indoor and outdoor seating, with custom booths as part of their outdoor seating. Must check out this place!!
Food was good but the service was absolutely terrible. We came here because we saw multiple people outside and it looked like a really cool spot. Despite not having any tables inside, we decided to sit outside. Even though it was 99°, our server seemed to ignore us. The entire evening we had to ask for water multiple times and often never got refills. Even in the sweltering heat we ordered the tuna tataki which was good but fairly expensive for such a small plate. It took us an hour and a half to get three salads which is absolutely wild. It wasn't super busy to the point where three salads should take that long. Not sure if our server didn't like us because we weren't ordering alcohol.Given the poor service for 3 simple salads we will not come back here.
Ordered a warm napa cabbage salad which was delicious and filling (9/10); ordered a cup of tomato bisque soup that was good (7/10) also filling but too much food. The warm bread pudding was surprisingly good (9/10) and the hot fudge sundae (10/10)was unusual and delicious!! Meal prices are a bit inflated (about 15%) IMO - I eat out a LOT. Will definitely go back.
Great service. We ate outside, it was a nice atmosphere. Food was really good, steak was delicious, the spicy tuna roll, salmon and poke bowls were good. Something for everyone here and good food.
We met my relatives here for lunch while we were in California. Not the cheapest place but the quality was very good. Delicious Town sushi roll. The burger was also very good with excellent fries.
We enjoyed Sunday brunch here! They have a huge indoor bar and great outdoor seating (good for doggies). Service was great, too. The menu is diverse with plenty of healthy options. We ordered a few appetizers including the miso cauliflower & shishito peppers, Philly cheesesteak spring rolls, & creamy garlic bread. I personally wasn’t a fan of the Philly cheesesteak spring rolls - too deep fried for me. But I highly recommend the cauliflower and shishito peppers! Very delicious. My boyfriend ordered the teriyaki skirt steak - it was a huge portion! It was yummy. I ordered Mary’s chicken warm Napa cabbage salad. It was okay. I wouldn’t order it again. Overall, good place with a good vibe!
Very nice brunch. We had a group of 6 and were still seated fairly quickly. Food and drinks were both very nice. I wish they had more Benedict options, but that's not a real complaint :)
Great food and ambience. Prompt and courteous service.
Town really is the jewel of San Carlos downtown. It isn't snobby yet it also isn't crass like a sports bar. It is business casual melded with San Carlos heartiness. The food isn't Michelin star, but it is bloody damn good. Lack of decorations and fancy plating aside, it does put you a few notches higher up on the happiness levels. They are also not trying to be pretentious. It is genuinely good ingredients, prepared with love, and served with care. And people are just happy when they dine here. No wonder they are literally the only thriving and expanding business on the entire Laurel Street strip.I'd go there more frequently if it was easier to get tables. Thank you for the owners to expanding the outdoor seating and booths. We are regulars and will return frequently.
The place is really good. The food is fairly priced and service is good.
