Servers were very pleasant and accommodating. Steak was cold. Broccolini was overdone, mushrooms and mash potatoes so/so. Restaurant inside dining room lacks a steakhouse atmosphere too bright and very open. Chairs are cheap and very uncomfortable to sit in. Seafood, don’t order! Trust me! Bummer we were hoping for better food.

GREAT Steak offerings in a very nice dining room - Nice selection of appetizers and Salads - Will definitely return for another dinner !!!

Great experience ! Food and service was great. Beautiful menu nice steak choices as well. We will back to dine soon.

Overpriced for the experience. Large portions but very basic, uninteresting space, slow service ( short staffed? ). Steak good. Good wines! Iced tea disappointing.

I had not heard of Taurus steakhouse before my arrival. I asked several local people in the area if they had heard of it and they all said no. No big deal, and had some decent reviews. The immediate appearance is very nice. Great tenant improvements and design. The wine list was decent by name but many of those wines were not in stock. The wine prices were about as expensive as I have seen at a “Steakhouse“, even some of the well-known high-end steakhouses. The menu selections were adequate, the portions and preparation were definitely above average and would warrant 4 to 4 1/2 stars by themselves. The service was extremely slow and poor follow up. They were out of several things, even simple milk for a latte. In all fairness, the place is really nice looking and could be a lot of fun if you don’t care about a mediocre inventory of wine and service is optional

The snow wagyu was way too fatty. Service was excellent

Our meal was outstanding. It is expensive but the service was great and the quality of the meat was outstanding. The steak was perfectly cooked and served on a wood platter. The mashed potatoes were also delicious. They did not rush us and their outside area is lovely.

If you're looking to enjoy A5 Japanese wagyu, I recommend avoiding Taurus and going to Alexander's in Cupertino. Our experience at Taurus was a waste of money. Maybe this was a bad day for them, but for the price, I'm not willing to try again. The staff was friendly and hard-working, but the flaws in the food and service really made it an expensive night out that we couldn't enjoy. The problems included:* The beef was very poorly cooked. Our steaks were cut a quarter inch thin before cooking. Neither side was seared, and was just colored gray. With such a thin steak not cooked with very high heat, by the time the outside was cooked the inside was overcooked. The interior of our steaks was gray to light pink, even though we all ordered our steaks medium rare.* The beef was poorly trimmed. Excess fat had not been trimmed off prior to cooking. Much of what was on our plate was just large chunks of fat. Each diner left about 10% of their portion on the plate because it was just chunks of fat.* The beef was poorly and inconsistently seasoned. My steak was over-salted, and I'm someone with a heavy hand on salt. My wife's steak was under-salted, and she's someone who uses much less salt than I.* Our side dishes didn't arrive with our steak. We were just given our small portions of A5 and that's it. Five minutes later, our first side dish arrived. Five minutes later, the next. And five minutes later, the third. Very rich beef like this needs side dishes, and we were left with a dilemma -- eat the steak on its own, or wait and let them grow cold.* The same problem with serving dishes happened in our appetizer course. One of the three guest's appetizer came out ten minutes after the other two were served. When her dish arrived, the hot component of the dish was cold.Nice people working there, but if you're looking for an A5 experience, go elsewhere.

Food was excellent, our server, was very knowledgeable and helpful. Ambience was wonderful sitting outside. We’ll be back with more people

We opted to sit inside, which was a fantastic experience. Beautiful front bar for some cocktails. The dining room was fantastic and had a warm feel to it. Appreciate all the cuts of meet visible for diners to see and talk with the head butcher about. The wine room is surprisingly large, and the sommelier was gracious enough to let my friends and I take a picture inside of it, post meal. The meal was really good, the kitchen provided a complimentary crudo which was fabulous! I had the scallops which were good, but a little bit underwhelming; only 3 scallops, and one of my friends had the salmon which he wasnt impressed by. 2 other friends had the steaks, which were really fantastic, so next time I'll stick with the red meat. The accoutrements were all excellent, especially the brentwood corn! We enjoyed all the deserts as well, the baklava is worth the trip itself. Entire staff was fantastic. the plating fabulous! Little treat, the cocktail menu and music is 80's themed, definitely a surprise that took us too long to figure out.
