Food creations were outstanding and fresh. Excellent service and attentive staff.
Although we chose to dine outside, the service was excellent. In fact, both the service and the food were excellent! One of the staff members informed us that the soy sauce was made in-house and advised us on how much soy sauce to use for the nigiri, which we did. It's wonderful to have had a wonderful dining experience while also learning something new.
Seiya maintains its quality of food and the freshness of its sushi/sashimi is superb. If you want authentic Japanese restaurant with excellent sushi/sashimi, Seiya is the place!
Absolutely wonderful! After tax and tip, the dinner came to about $100 per personâbut high-quality food and service doesnât come cheap. I have loved this restaurant for years, and am grateful to be able to enjoy it outdoors during the pandemic.
For three of us we ordered Daikon Salad, Albacore Tataki,Agedashi Tofu, Fish Tacos, Hon Hamachi, Crunchy California Roll and Temptation Roll. Draft beer served in lovely grey stone glasses to keep the beer cold. Very deep sake menu. We really enjoyed all of the dishes, we had one fork eater with us and he liked everything! This is the freshest raw fish served in a restaurant on the peninsula. The hon hamachi melts in your mouth. I thought the food quality was on par with Nabu Excellent service . Will return (without the fork eater) and order more sashimi.
Average omakase. Not very kid friendly and not special enough for a date night. Very nice ambience and average service.
