We were visiting from Connecticut and heard about Pazzo with a recommendation that the make New Haven-style pizza. We could not pass up the opportunity to give the pizza a try. We found the service to be very friendly and efficient. Pazzo appears to be take-out only right now, which suited us just fine. The pizzas were great--while not exactly what we should get back home, the crust and toppings were right in line with our expectation. We highly recommend Pazzo for anyone who want to experience "real" pizza!
I grew up in New Haven, Connecticut and am wild about New Haven pizza. They even serve Foxon Park soda at Pazzo--another New Haven staple. I was thrilled when I first heard that the restaurant was opening in San Carlos--even if I'm up in San Francisco. Pazzo's is the real deal. I've only gotten there once before today (and needed to reheat the pizza by the time I got home), but oh is the trip worth it!
The 4.6 star rating avg is not fair! This is definitely a full 5 stars. This thin crust, New Hampshire styled, wood burning oven pizza is the best from West Coast to East Coast. No, I am not affiliated with Pazzo's in any way, it's just that tasty...heavenly.
Best pizza I’ve found in the Bay Area. Love their take on shrimp and grits, and the meatballs melt in your mouth!
Forget the salad, cauliflower or desert (tiramisu was very moist)...the star here is the SUPERB New Haven style pizza, upgrading to 5 stars. Thought I was back at Pepes for a minute when I tasted it. Well worth the trip here just for the fennel sausage pizza.
Good thin crust pizza. We added bacon to the gulf shrimp pizza and loved the crustTad bit saltier than we liked it but might be the extra bacon we added.

Very good wood fired pizza. Crust had a nice bite and a lot of flavor. Each pizza was distinct, we got 4 different pizzas.
