Ate there for the first time tonight and we were really glad we did. The people working there are really nice and the food is some of the best Mexican food we've had. We both walked out feeling happy and well fed. We'll definitely be going back. Highly recommended!
La Hacienda is a cute little restaurant serving classic California-style Mexican food. This is the sort of place you adopt as your local spot for Mexican food, because the flavors were fantastic! Daughters loved their dishes, burrito and quesadilla, and I loved my Enchiladas Mole. Excellent mole sauce. Super friendly staff. Good food and salsa. Very glad I found La Hacienda, and happy to recommend a little gem like this.

While getting our first house ready to move-in, I googled the nearest restaurant. La Hacienda appeared and I proceeded to walk there for lunch. Excellent vegetarian options! I almost always get the incredible Enchiladas Mexicana with cheese. Recently I had the Chiles Rellenos which have a very unique, lighter, tastier batter in an even more unique round shape. Delicious! The fresh guac is top shelf quality. Depending on how much caffeine I've had, I get the horchata which my kids also love. The iced tea is perfect and unsweetened. The outside courtyard seating is amazing in San Carlos weather and the inside seating features booths. The staff and owners are incredibly kind and always cheer up my day. I'm hoping the delicious Cafe next door has survived the pandemic.
Had another terrific meal from here. The beef enchilada combo was very good and the flautas were tasty. Order was ready when I arrived and staff was friendly. Parking was easy.

Had another great meal from here. Ordered a beef enchilada combo and a burrito and both were excellent. Made for a delicious meal that we were able to relax and enjoy. Ordered on-site and everything was prepared in about 10 minutes. Looking forward to when we can enjoy indoor dining here.
Their salsa alone is reason enough to come through! We discovered La Hacienda a couple of years ago via a friend who had them cater her party and we’ve been hooked ever since. We love everything we’ve tasted but our tried and true favorite, is tacos dorados with the shredded chicken. YUM! Just drooling thinking about it.
