Plus fries and ketchup are always a delight.If you’re not sure about getting animal style get the sauce on the side.They have a not so secret, secret menu that you can order off if you like.
Extremely busy location during peak hours, and for a good reason. The burgers are to die for: salad is fresh, sauce is fantastic and meat actually has a taste. Amazing!On the other hand, the fries are an insult to anything else a potato could have been: ridiculously oversalted, flabby, with the chewing texture of butter.
Usually have a decent experience but today when I ordered, even after going up and asking about my milkshakes and why they hadn’t shown up yet at the counter, I still didn’t receive them. So after I was done eating I just asked for a refund. It looks very chaotic and like the team struggles working together. Need to work on communication.
This is a good in and out and it's very clean. The restrooms are clean. I do like the hamburgers and shakes. I know this may be blasphemy for some but I do not like the fries... I've eaten at this San Carlos location quite frequently. The service is good ....today was a little slow. I don't know if they were short staffed. I got here way before the lunch rush and the service was slow. Overall, this is a good in and out it's clean. It's what you expect from in and out. They do have a large parking lot with a large drive-thru which is usually busy most of the time. But they have the parking lot situated in such a way that they can handle a lot of cars waiting for the drive-thru.
Yes the line was long as hell but it actually didn't take as long as I thought. After ordering we moved quite quickly. If you like In-N-Out there's nothing wrong with this place.

it is our to go place for quick bite and when we cannot decide what to eat. it is always a good choice. I like the double fry fries. I used to have Double double but has stop ordering it for a while. Now I always order the cheese burger. The drive through order sometimes take longer that order inside. with gas price so high I am not sure it is good idea to use drive thru order.
At one time I thought that this franchise hired the best people who really cared about their customers and providing excellent service with a smile! I thought “Disney has nothing on them,” for everyone smiled as they worked! The employees used to hustle; move quickly and efficiently in an effort to give excellent service, along with their smile. I remember thinking that it must be part of the requirements for employment! I thought that certainly this work ethic was also a requirement for employment as well!Well sad to say, that is no longer the case. The novelty of excellent service has depreciated! The employees move very casually now, no more hustle! They talk with one another as they move through their individual routines. The teamwork and camaraderie is missing, which I guess I imagined was there.French fries and burgers are cold by the time you get them! And the smile is gone!No more “Thank you for coming” or “Have a good day”!And this fast food is not so fast!The thrill is gone!Used to enjoy your smile?
Please avoid this place on busy days. If you see there is a long line for the drive through, just leave. Going inside to order didn't help either, we waited over 45 mins for our order! An annoying thing is that they seem to serve the drive through line the whole time and completely disregard all the people that are waiting inside the restaurant. Definitely the worst 'fast' food experience I ever had.
