My family really enjoys the wide selection of sushi rolls and non-sushi items. There are rolls that a sushi purist may scoff at, but they are tasty. This is a great place for people who like cooked or veggie sushi options like eel, crab, shrimp, avocado, etc. But the raw fish sushi and sashimi are great too. This is my go-to sushi restaurant in San Bruno.
I had a tasty salmon lunch box with California rolls, salmon, salad, and gyozas.
Love sushi! Thank you, will be back for sure!Fast service beautiful people!
We just left this amazing restaurant! We loved everything! The food is delicious, the service was amazing, was a girl very very kind and courteous! We chose the bento box delux, one beef a d one salmon, is a lot of food to be honest! Perfect if you are hungry =)) I definitely recommend this place!
Excellent rolls and great service. Recommended!
Cozy restaurant but extremely slow service. We waited longer for the food than to actually eat it. I had the Katsu/Teriyaki dinner combo and it was ok. The meat was a bit dry and the portion size was a bit small.
Lunch off menu. Only did a couple of rolls. Next time i will read to combos closer.l
Food is maybe 4 stars, but they are not attentive and are very stingy. They wanted to charge me $2 for a small dipping cup of sauce! I'd rather give my money to somewhere else, even if the sushi isn't better, so long as they are not stingy like this!Reply:That is an absolute ripoff either way. Those tiny dipping cups of watered down sauce? On my way home I purchased sauce that wasn't watered down for $3 and it would completely fill 10 of those dipping cups or more, which you still only fill up halfway. All you are doing is excusing why you are charging for a condiment. Disgraceful.
Worst experience I’ve ever had. My usual place was closed(mind you is also $ one dollar sign)It took 20 minutes for a hand roll & my dad ordered 2 pieces of unagi & gyoza( definitely not fresh)There was only other person eating there. So I do know why it took 2 chefs forever, they weren’t making giant rolls.( there were about 4 tickets with orders ours included)Don’t even get me started with the waitress, any minute she would have free from taking orders from the other table(she really tried to ignore us) she would run to her cellphone. All you could see is her scrolling, and texting.I wanted to order some sake, there was no way to make eye contact. At this point I just want to walk out. As soon as we got our food, we paid & left. Never coming back again! The chefs weren’t wearing proper uniform, they were wearing their street clothing, so you could imagine how uneasy that could make one feel. I don’t want them to wear a uniform like a Michelin star restaurant but wearing the proper equipment to maintain cleanliness is more than just common sense.
Pretty solid sushi boat restaurant.Unfortunately the boats are not live. You can still or from their delicious menu. The atmosphere is decent.
