Dine in is much better than take out if you want to experience chewy fresh texture of dumplings. I love their spicy wonton and sweet and sour soup. The chive shrimp dumpling and chicken fried rice are also great too. Tea was super hot. I wish they have sesame oil on the table to go along with dumplings. Their house spicy sauce has nice bean paste taste and kicks.
Very nice and authentic. The table needs to be cleaned. I saw one too many flies flying. I'll probably do Take out next time instead of dine in. The food was excellent.
One of the best dumpling, noodles, and Chinese restaurants we've ever had in the bay area. Highly recommend and the prices are amazing!! Service is really great too.
Everything was absolutely delicious and fresh. The service was great too!We ordered Dan Dan Noodles, soup dumplings, shrimp dumplings, and garlic broccoli.
Came here for a quick lunch and got seated right away on a Sunday afternoon. We opted in for a traditional Dan Dan noodle, pork dumpling with corn, and a pan fried dumpling. My favorite was the pork dumplings with corn which was naturally tasty and sweet without any sauce. I wished there was more meat and chewier noodles for the Dan Dan. Definitely got for their dumplings as it seems to be their speciality and it was my favorite dish of 3. Everything here is one-time use for easier clean since it seems like there's only one or two host and server. Dont mind returning for more dumplings! 3 dishes for $30 with tips and tax included. Overall, this spot is average and their orange hot sauce was too spicy for me, but for y’all spicy lovers, give it a go!
Food was good, not mind-blowing or anything. They make their noodles in-house, which is cool. Not a great experience, though. The food came out on dishes and bamboo steamer baskets, but everything else was disposable. We ate off of paper plates or out of to-go boxes. Paper cups were provided for drinking water and we were given plastic utensils. They didn't provide cups or ice with the sodas we ordered; those folks in our party asked for ice and received it in mismatched to-go containers, one of which was clearly intended for soup. The menus were also to-go style, printed on a glossy folded paper. There was a lot of confusion over the food. The waitress came back after taking our orders to tell us that they were out of one of the things we ordered, but she was unable to clearly communicate what it was. Another person came over, but we never figured it out and they wound up leaving again without resolution. She didn't remember who had ordered what she didn't want to speak up when bringing out the food; we sort of had to figure out what everything was and it didn't help that the order wasn't quite right. Some of what we ordered never came and we received more than expected of other things. The place was a bit dingy and the restroom was downright grimy with no soap in the dispenser. They did keep the water coming and we appreciated that, but it also seemed like they ran out of ice partway through the meal. It's really unfortunate since they are a block from my place, but cleanliness and quality of service just weren't there and the food didn't make up for it. We won't be going back. I wouldn't dream of taking family or friends here.
Good quality food. Super hole in the wall vibes. I would come back again! The dish that really stood out was the knife cut noodles!
Reasonable price, various of dumplings. Not that big dinning area with no social distance.
Lamb soup noodles were excellent. Pork and shrimp dumplings were ok. Tendon cold dish was disappointing (bite into a frozen piece of tendon) Scallion, egg wrap. Disappointing. wrap was too thick, where's the chives. Egg was fried and over cooked.
This is a perfect example of a food not service place.Sticky table, paper plates, but that's not what you're paying for right? You pay for the food on the plate. The food is fantastic, I highly recommend the pancake wrap and "knife-cut noodles". The dumplings if you look carefully in the back, are actually made in store and not store bought. This place is favorited on my list of restaurants to swing by for some good Chinese food.
