The employee working today May 6, 2022 who I spoke with at 10:15 AM was posing as the owner of this DQ branch. She was very rude & just hung-up on me. I work with Dairy Queen Corporate office & was bringing to her attention an issue with one of the employees who took my order yesterday May 5, 2022. The banana split was not in their usual plastic bowl with the regular condiments. 2 slices of a whole banana, strawberries, & chocolate syrup that has been served that way in a long time. Instead it was served in a large blizzard cup with just one piece of a banana. Whoever owns this branch should take the necessary actions with your employees. Especially the girl I spoke with this morning who claims to be the owner & who just hung-up on me while telling her my concerns. TheDQ branch at Tamforan Mall Suite # 2523, San Bruno, CA 94066 needs re training for its employees. Even their chili dog was not prepared properly. Beware before ordering from this particular branch.
I'm surprised this still exists because the last time I've seen an Orange Julius is many years ago.
After having it in Portland, I was thrilled to see so many locations pop up in SB! You really can't go wrong with any of the flavors here. This location is spacious and airy. There's even a nice outdoor deck for you to enjoy your ice cream even though there weren't any tables. Unfortunately due to the current state of COVID, they aren't doing samples.
rented a car and drove all the way here from SF just for dairy queen and it was worth it

Expensive. $7-8 for a medium size orange julius original. Ouch.
