The sushi pieces are huge compared to the ones I get in SF for the same price. Service was great especially since we didn't have a reservation and we got complimentary ice cream at the end too! Will visit again.
Packed even on Sunday night. No social distance at all. But they have extreme nigiri sushi and special rolls.
The best sushi I ever had! The unique taste comes from truffle oil, the fish is fresh and quality of the food overall is excellent! Waiters are very nice and helpful.A must try if you're in the hood.
Great service and fantastic food.
this was our last restaurant stop in San Francisco before heading home to Atlanta the next day. For some reason we can't fin the pictures we thought we took of all the food, but I can promise everything was fantastic and beautifully arranged. the staff was super friendly and helpful too.in this picture are their 3 ice creams: green tea (good), red bean (wife's favorite), and sesame (my favorite)
The best sushi place in SF…I am a sushi lover. The fish there are so fresh and the Uni are premium. From the sashimi to the Kobe beef, everything is top. Their pricing is also very reasonable. Eric and Phoebe are very nice and provide excellent service.
Best sushi in the bay!! I go with my family all the time and they have fresh and affordable sushi. Must try the unagi fried rice so good. And the services was great!
My son & I went to have sushi yesterday evening at Amami. Saw the rating on maps and thought it would be a nice place. We ordered and my son ordered his and didn't realize he ordered all raw roll. It doesn't say on the menu it's fully raw and neither does it say it has fish eggs on the top. So all I asked our waitress is if they can just bake it, so the rawness can go away. Here comes a guy saying there's a asterisk next to all the raw sushi, wasn't kind. The girl was nice. I ate my sons roll and let him have mine but my stomach hurt all night and I was nauseated. The place is clean. Food wasn't great, didn't taste good either. They also need to let the customers know bout the rolls they are ordering in advance. Before placing the order to the chef. (Meaning about the fish eggs and raw rolls)
Had a great time here and the food was very good. Service was on point and thank you Lilly....what a sweet heart and great service from her.My only reason to not make it 5*, note to owner, I sat by the window and your lighting is intensely bright...like an interrogation room. Please, use a lower watt bulb or dim it some as I felt blinded by it and couldn't hardly look up.Otherwise, a great spot and I will be back.
