So far it's the best BBQ that I have had in California. We ordered 1.5 lbs of brisket (point), 1 lb of burnt ends, a pint of Mac&Cheese, and a sm yams. In order as to how I tried them, the first bite of burnt end I had was flavorful but on the tough side, but then every bit after was melt in your mouth good. They weren't as cubed as I have had in the past, and we got quite a bit of pieces that had fallen apart, but like I said very good. Next were the yams, they were pretty good, tasted like they were smoked as well, and I'm guessing brown sugar and maybe some maple were in the mix. 3rd was the fatty brisket, good crust (not great), the flavor of the meat really comes through, and it's pretty good, then comes the Mac& Cheese, it was THE BEST I have ever had, perfect noodles, cheesy, and the cheese crust made the whole thing perfect. Bring home lots of leftovers, and that will be the next test, how well do they handle reheating in the microwave. We shall see.So we sat there eating and talking for some time really enjoying the atmosphere, from where we were sitting almost all of the tables were full, there were a lot of smiles and the music was great. Now for the best part, we had tried to go the night before and missed closing by 3 minutes, tried the door, it was locked, and one of the guys inside waved signaling that they were closed, so we left. Today we arrived after about 8-10 customers showed up, and the guy that waved the evening before, recognized me and said hey you were here last night after we closed right, I said yes, and he was apologetic saying that it was their closing time and that they had run out of meat. Well we placed our order, he continued to apologize, and it seemed to be very genuine to me. Well to end it off, everyone who worked there were just as friendly and that was extremely refreshing, to have a little piece of Texas style hospitality here in Southern California. Great job to everyone, and for those reasons this is a 5⭐ review.
Absolute best barbecue ever! You will not be disappointed! There’s not one thing there that I wouldn’t give an A+ rating to! I’ve been there twice this week and this is going to be my go to place. Lucille‘s Doesn’t even compare and that used to be my favorite but this place beats it by far! Also, their customer service is amazing! Some thing that every other restaurant has been lacking! Way to go Spirit of Texas!
OK people. This is real deal Texas BBQ. Holy cow it is good! Best brisket I've had in California, the pork belly burnt ends are like candy, all the sides taste like they came straight from a back yard BBQ in Wichita Falls.I will come back out here from LA because I am certain that I will dream about those yams. Absolutely ridiculous. So freaking good.Daniel and Rosie are some of the sweetest, most welcoming people! This place is an out-of-the-park home run in every way. Well done y'all!
I love this place. It’s some of the best BBQ I’ve had, as good or better than places in Texas, Louisiana, and LA (definitely better than in LA lol). Check it out!! Try the pork belly burnt ends.

I will give this place the stamp of best BBQ in San Bernardino! Very authentic flavor & texture! The lady taking our order gave us some samples & she won us over right there! The beans & greens were very flavorful and the potatoes salad was the perfect cool down. As you can see, the chicken & tri tip were so good that we didn’t get a picture! Stop by, they won’t disappoint!
What a joke! $13.00 for a sandwich? At least they could have put one side with the sandwich. This place give Texas a bad name because everything in TX as far as food portions are BIG. I normally drive to L.A. to purchase BBQ and though it's a drive, it worth it. NOT Worth the price and my husband and I won't be back. It's sad that you can't find a good BBQ place in the Inland Empire.
Food is really good. I tried their brisket sandwich and it was phenomenal. I highly recommend this place. Everyone needs to check this place out.

the best BBQ. sides are good but Mac and cheese is made with nacho cheese or something. not very good especially for the price. BUT... AMAZING BBQ
