We haven’t been here in a few years. Each time before we missed them after closed. Finally got in and enjoyed! We started garlic cheese bread and was delicious! I had a pasta entree and my wife had chicken Caesar salad. We both enjoyed everything!! We took a spaghetti entree home for our son. The waiter was not the friendliest though he attended to our needs for the most part.
Only the bread was good. So, maybe the pizza is good. The Alfredo sauce was salty. Customer service was slow even though there were only two tables taken.
Nonna’s Italian Restaurant, 1689 W. Kendall Drive Suite H, San BernardinoClosed: Jan. 19Grade: Not gradedReason: Cockroach and rodent infestation. An inspector visited Jan. 12 in response to a complaint that someone saw two dead roaches on the floor and the restaurant smelled foul. The inspector immediately noticed a “sewer like smell,” which the operator said was coming from the grease trap. The inspector didn’t see any roaches but did find some old rodent droppings on the floor, and the operator said pest control had last visited in August. The inspector went back a week later and found one live and three dead roaches, as well as a trap left by pest control that was full of live and dead roaches, plus some fresh rodent droppings on the floor and in a cabinet. The restaurant had been shut down once before, for a week in November 2018, because of a cockroach infestation.
Nonna’s Italian Restaurant is a very nice cozy Restaurant. Their menu offers many Italian classics to choose from. Tonight we tried The Lasagna and a Meatball Sandwich both were tasty and delicious. I love trying local businesses and Nonna’s Italian Restaurant is definitely worth trying.
I was actually impressed. I had pizza. Pretty damn good. My wife had Angel Hair with garlic butter, spinach and sundried tomato. It was actually really good.
Food was amazing! I got the short rib ravioli and my husband got the short rib. Both were so delicious we were almost licking our plates after ?. Portions are small though so be prepared to order multiple apps if you want to be full

Ordered a lasagna and focaccia bread, was told it would take 25 minutes, done in 20.Lasagna was FIRE and the bread was a great compliment AND there was a bunch of it. Definitely coming back soon.
It has the same quality, the same taste, and the same hospitality that I had a great time with a few years ago. This time I had dinner with my family and my toddler boy.Nonna is located in Little Italy in San Diego. Little Italy is a nice block to walk, stroll, and enjoy the vibe of the street and the area.I highly recommend the Carbonara pasta. It is so rich in cheese married with a high quality of pasta noodle, and you will fully immerse the taste of the dish. When you are in The Little Italy in the San Diego area, please drop by Nonna.
