This happens to be the only buffet in town. My family and I thought we would come back and try this place again, we haven't been here since the whole lock down fiasco. It was one of the better buffets as far as buffets go ( not fine dining, but good for families that have different wants). Let me be clear the low score is not because the staff was rude ( they were not ). It is not because the food was terrible ( it's buffet food )it is what it is. It's because it was not well organized or as clean as it should have been for what you pay. I would avoid this place, you can get much better food at the olive garden and for around the same price, per plate.
Food was not good at all. The only good thing was the fried chicken, but the place was so packed, as soon as the chicken came out it was gone. You constantly have to ask for a spoon or fork from a waitress because the utensils bin was never filled. My husband watched a food server switch out the cheese sauce, dropped the bin in the hot water bath, so the water went into the sauce, and she still put it out for customers. There were old cinnamon rolls left out in between the grilled meat station that were hard as a rock, left out from breakfast hours ago. The floors were disgusting because everyone is constantly spilling and dropping food. The dinning room is hot, musty and smells because of sooo many people packed in and mixture of food, feels like there's no a.c. or airflow. We have never been to any Golden Corral before, and after our experience, we will NEVER go to another one ever again. A family of 4 cost $70!!! Way too much for nasty food.We went on a Sunday around 4pm.
Just had breakfast buffet @ San Bernardino location after 2 years due to Covid. Overall experience is better than 2 years ago. Staffs are very friendly, answered all my questions and requests. Counter surface/ food court areas are more clean than before. Even the food taste better. I thought maybe it was because I was hungry but my husband agreed with me. Kids enjoyed the time as well. The management definitely is doing a wonderful job in keeping customers satisfied.
They close early for a Saturday night, not a fan of the staff bringing me my drink. I would much rather get it myself. Do not like only getting one fork to use for all your courses. Over all food was great, but parents should really keep on eye on their kids.
I Love there food!! My steak is always cooked just right!! The servers are always very nice!!
Came for a weekday lunch. Cost $20 with a soda cup. I came specifically for the fish and tartar sauce. The tartar sauce looked nasty. But when I tried desert I had to spit out the brownie cause I could hardly shew it. I was so disgusted I left without getting my moneys worth. I’m pretty sure this will be my last time at Golden Corral. I gave it 3 stars because I don’t want to trash a business that’s trying to survive the pandemic. And I appreciate that they had plastic disposable gloves for the customers. And to be honest, the other foods looked pretty good but I don’t eat beef and chicken. This review is specifically for the fried fish and tartar sauce.
Haven’t been here since February of 2020! The place was super clean and the staff was super friendly. We got there around 12pm on Saturday. It was a little weird seeing a few breakfast items still being served. Other than that we had a great meal and we’re super happy to be back dining in!
My only complaint is over crowding. They don’t seat people they just keep ‘em coming in.we had a family literally standing by our table while we ate waiting for all of us to leave so they could sit down. We mistakenly left all together to get food and they quickly sat down and I had to tell them we weren’t finished and sit back at the table while my kids went to get food so no one would take it . Our jackets and drinks were there but ppl were pushy for tables. Staff needs to use the seating option. And stop letting people enter once tables are full. Food is always being replaced and the staff is always the most friendly. Just hate the over crowding. Surprised at how clean the San Bernardino restaurant is. They really were maintaining it even with a full house. That I was very very pleased with.
There service is good and there food is great! Our waitress have been very nice. No problem with them. My kids live there breakfast.
