i am honest, so the review will be based on my experience. i bought the 3 meat dinner with ribs, chicken and links. The ribs were probably the best of the meat, but they were salty and the sauce was greasy. The chicken was also salty and chewy. The hot links were so salty i could not eat them, and there was not really any taste. Overall, it wasnt that down home BBQ, with the smoke flavor. Recommendation: Use a totally different hot link, slice a few slits around so the flavor goes through. Same thing for the other meats, maybe use a different source for your meats, and work on a new BBQ sauce. the Mac and cheese was OK, but not WOW! the mixture of greens and yams or cabbage, was just awful, the 2 dont go together, did not taste like greens and should of had meat like traditional greens. I am writing this review not to bash or hurt your business rather to express an opp-ion that may or could take your food to the next level. When people spend nearly $50 buck on one paper container of food it needs to be outstanding.
I'm giving this place 1 stars they are hardly ever open can't wait to start my soul food business I will be open all the time. Most soul food places in San Bernardino be open.
It was my first time ordering food from here I called it in and my friend picked it up for me I seen all the good reviews and was set on I had to try it! Than I seen the bad reviews ?right but knowing me I’m hard headed lol and once I want something I have to have it so I tried it! And, I must say my food was really good 5 stars for sure. So I ordered the Green’s mac & cheese black eye peas and rice and fried okra! I Favorites is the fried okra and Green’s everything is good
I’m very disappointed with this food . Came today, and boughtRib Dinner three for 75 dollars and my sweet potatoes was hard and the meat was pink inside not done . I don’t like my meat boil can’t even taste the barbecue grill on the meat it taste like it’s been boiled and then they put barbecue sauce on it . The macaroni cheese was stiff and hard it wasn’t even fresh .
There workers are amazing I went there before and everything they made was well done and fresh and they are very polite they are literally amazing people god bless there soul and I would recommend there food
I was in the area and decided to visit this spot. I ordered a tri tip or brisket sandwich...don't remember which one, exactly. The meat was tender and it was pretty filling.
The food was nasty I will never go back again it was very expensive she double charge meTry double charge me at clothing store never will support again
Really disappointed because we love us some good BBQ. We are always looking for new spots to try.We tried on numerous occasions to try this spot out.Unfortunately each time we came out.They weren't ready or they weren't open.So on 2 separate times they didn't have anything ready to serve and 3 other times they were closed.We tried before covid and after.So we can't say anything about the food as we never got to try it.Needless to stay we won't be retuning we gave them way too many chances.
Where to begin with this place?1. There’s always a bunch of gang members hanging around outside.2. It’s a coin toss on whether or not you’ll get what you ordered.3. If you’re a delivery driver be prepared to arrive and be met with either “oh I didn’t know I had any orders” meanwhile the cook is just sitting there or “call the customer and tell them we don’t have xyz”4. Food that children could’ve cooked better.5. Save your money and go elsewhere.All these 5 star reviews are either fake, people who are associated with the owner or lucky. All the people complaining are legitimate
