Super cool ambiance! Steam punk and ice cream! Delicious options and presentation! Liquid nitrogen fog and just super fun all around!
This place has a great concept for ice cream where you can build your own flavors for your liking. The atmosphere is quite positive and inviting. The owner/manager is very friendly and helpful. My experience personally was not so great with the place as the day we visited they were experiencing staff shortage and the staff on the floor was new maybe. That caused a delay in making our ice cream. On top, the ice cream portion size was very poor. Not worth the price as the ice cream I got for nearly $9 was just two tablespoonfuls.
Don't bother coming to this place today. Tried to walk in at 6pm and was told they are closing 3 hours early. ?♂️?♂️ This is the second time I have tried to try this place and was shot down. Doubt ill be coming back. ??response to owner:??the employee working the front. There was another group behind us that was turned away to. Place did not look that busy so either it was a slow day or they have been turning guest away for sometime before I got there. We won't talk about the 45 minute wait last time I went and once again there was only about 6 people in the building waiting for their order.
The ice cream was good just very overpriced. I think we paid $20+ for two cups of ice cream. The portion was large so if I go back I would share a single creation instead of ordering two.

Best ? ice cream for vegan or gelato. They use Nitrogen! They have plenty of options, for example, yogurt, oat milk, almond milk, coconut milk and ECT. (You can use any of those items mentioned above as your base!) I love their creamy options! I used to live in San Francisco, and the creams texture is identical to that of SF. Build a Scoop is definitely something special! Those complaining about the wait! Bro it's freshly made (Let that Sink in!!). You want a wanna be fast food taste go somewhere else. I highly recommend build a scoop!
Very cool place. Froyo, Felato, Sorbet was very good with plenty of toppings to choose from. Decorations was very neat and unique. Customer service was very good. They could use a lil help to speed up the process
Hard to find, extremely dark at night, and very complicated menu. We just wanted a scoop of ice cream, yet they made it seem so complicated that there are instructions on how to order. Also we were the only ones there, yet seemed to take a long time just to get the order. The decor was good, and the staff was nice, but they need lighting outside at night, work on making it simple and fast. The price was about the same as similar stores, but seemed slightly less good. We got chocolate but it tasted "watered" down, with more milk then chocolate.
