CruiseShip hospitality When I say that I mean (I think his name is Manny who worked on CruiseShip's for many years), you have to have a special personality to handle a lot of customers with a personal touch. His drink knowledge was exaptational.
We had a lovely Saturday evening at Portobello's. Chicken Parmesan was delicious, my husband and sister in law had sandwiches which they enjoyed. One of our party has a Gluten allergy and the waitress made suggestions to accommodate this need. Their was a small but nice selection of local wines. The restaurant is not fancy, simple wooden tables, concrete wall, but the entire ambiance was elevated by the original jazz provided by a trio. We learned they are the Dan Beck Band. I don't know if the restaurant often has music, but I hope so, because it was quite special. Food prices were reasonable as was the wine. We will enjoy this restaurant again,
Excellent outdoor dining. Middle patio or out front on Main Street. This place was hopping. Wait Staff was very attentive. Best soup roasted corn chowder it had a hint of spice, was creamy and the corn tasted fresh off the cob. I enjoyed the Greek salad with pasta, chicken, feta, bell peppers on top of green lettuce. The salad was dressed to perfection. Sitting outside was nice it was warm with a nice breeze. Will definitely go back to sample other items.
My salmon sandwich was delicious! Next time I'll try the Calzone.... that too looked delicious ?
We came as a group of 3. Ages(51, 43, 7) we ordered the Portobello burger add meat with sweet potato fries, the Cuban Sandwich with soup(clam chowder) and kiddo got the cheeseburger sliders with sweet potato fries. He loved the sliders so much, he ordered one more slider. The sweet potato fries were amazing. The portobello burger was Devine. My hubby said he wants to go back and order that again. My Cuban Sandwich was the best I’ve ever had. The clam chowder side was yummy. A lot of clam chunks, with hearty potato, carrot and celery chunks. I prefer more pepper in my chowder, so I asked for a pepper shaker.
Sabrina and Alexander made this brunch awesome! So refreshing to have passionate engaging servers. Food was delicious, omelette and French toast!

Had dinner with friends after track day at Laguna. There is no parking, so need to find parking on the street, which is not easy on a Friday night. Food was delicious and there was a gentleman who serenades the customers periodically. Restaurant has a homey decor and food is reasonably priced and delicious.
originally we were supposed to go to azteca but the place didn't have enough space to accommodate a large group so we went with Portobello's. we were seated promptly with enough space for everyone. the food was delicious I got the hamburger w guac. servers were great just the food took a while understandably we were a large party to tend to. the ambient is nice too, not too loud just perfect for dining
