Never had olive garden was super excited to take my wife after we had worked a long, hard day. We sat waiting for 30 minutes and didn't even get our drinks orders in. Completely unacceptable. And when we left, we hardly got an acknowledgement. The gas it took to drive there and back alone.....Safe to say i will NEVER be eating at olive garden. I plan on telling every one i know about this.
I had the best time cominging in to eat at this location!! I always look for a great customer service and this restaurant exceeded my expectations!! Their customer service is 1st class. Our waitresseses Melissa and Maribelwere absolutely amazing!! I definitely recommend this place and will stop by every time I come to visit Salinas, Ca.I hope I get these two lovely ladies again!!
The service was great and the food came pretty quick. I would eat there again if I could. They even followed COVID guidelines and wore mask when serving.
Great staff, food same as any other olive garden. Plenty of parking and cozy layout. Place is big but decided nicely so there is some level of privacy. Staff was also very friendly and well organized. Most spoke Spanish as well to customers that felt more comfortable.
Very disappointed. Went for dinner on a Sunday night. The wait was not long at all. Between 10 to 15 minute wait for 2 people. The guy at the hostess stand was friendly. Once we were seated our waiter came and took our drink order. Later returned to get the rest of our order. Some confusion between waiters because a different waiter came to our table to take our order, but we had already given our full order to the first waiter. Very disappointed with the food. Got calamari as a starter, the breading was very salty. Got the chicken gnocchi soup, very salty, even the bread sticks were to salty. A pricey meal that was not enjoyed at all.
This has to be the filthiest Olive Garden I’ve ever been to. Food was okay but cleanliness wise this place is disgusting.1. Glasses were dirty2. Plates had frost on them3. Cutlery was dirty had white stains on them.4. Salad tong was dirtySeems like this Olive Garden branch needs new dish washing equipments along with cutlery and crockery.
Service excellent! Food good filling.
Let me start by saying I LOVED OLIVE GARDEN when I was younger visiting my grandparents, so when we were in Salinas with time to kill I made sure we had the chance to swing by for lunch, even though BJ's is next door (another favorite chain of ours). So, we sat in the bar area, had a drink and lunch. The food is okay at best, service was INTENSE - she came to the stall we sat in and would just look at us while we were unsure what to order. She didn't give us a chance to look over the menu or anything.... Just STOOD THERE, waiting for our ENTIRE order. I felt pressured and overwhelmed by her need to have all the answers right away.We ended up rushing our order, not getting what we wanted, the food was not as great as I remembered it was as a child, and we didn't want to speak to our server about the poor quality or lack of attention to our fold because of her intense pressure at the beginning of the meal. The salad had lettuce that was still dirty and wilted, the soup was mildly warm, the stake was chewy and tasteless and the breadsticks were the best part.Needless to say, BJ's is better food and service and we will NOT be returning to olive garden in Salinas again, unfortunately.
One of our favorite places to eat for decent priced good food. Service has always been great. Friendly staff and typically not a super long wait time. We try and go here at least once a week.
Went with family for dinner, had about a 20 minute wait, which is about average for this place. Server was great, very professional and constantly followed up with how we were doing and asked if we needed anything (that is a major plus in service). People were friendly and environment was relaxing. Food was freshly served.
