Allie did a superb job of welcoming us, helping with the menu, and serving us. The chicken enchiladas were great! They have a fine wine list but we brought our own bottle, which they served us for a fair corkage fee. We will return.
Our first time here and won't be our last. Nice vibe to the place and the food is very good. Service was excellent. Seems like a lot of regulars living in the area dine here and know each other. I had the chicken marsala. It came with grilled asparagus and mashed potatoes. The marsala reduction with mushrooms was prepared well and the chicken had a bit of a pan fried crispiness on the outside even though it was a skinless breast and retained it's juiciness. My son ordered the French dip sandwich. Prime rib on french bread with horseradish and au jus on the side and fries. How can you go wrong with that?

Owners are so friendly! High quality ingredients make for a delicious lunch - I had the grilled chicken sandwich and was so happy with the toasted French bread! Definitely worth the stop
Went to the Zoo with the kids, stopped here for lunch. The food was good, for us...horrible for the kids. They wouldn't eat the chicken or Mac and cheese. I tried it before they ate it, it was a little dry but didn't think much of it. When I investigated further, it wasn't cooked. It was old chicken they threw in a fryer that was way too hot. Notice burnt ends yet uncooked center.Also, Mac and cheese. Its so simple it's almost hard to mess up. The fries were the only thing the kids ate, but they wouldn't eat the fries that touched the Mac and cheese...that says it all.Again, our food was good and they removed the cost of the chicken. It still just sucks that we need to go home with hungry kids and make them lunch when we get home.
