Nice little deli with fantastic house-prepared soups. They have lunch combos (half sandwich and soup), salads and deserts. And when the weather's nice, they put out tables on the Main Street sidewalk.

We stopped in here for a quick bite to eat not knowing how good it was going to be. We were delighted to discover that it was delicious! The burgers are huge and their soups are amazing. The service was quick and they checked on us repeatedly to see if we needed anything else. Overall very satisfied and we'll definitely be back.
Wanted to see Salinas downtown area and just popped in to an open restaurant (two others we tried on Main St were closed) which happened to be Gordon’s. It was mid afternoon, pretty quiet so we ordered and got our food right away. Omg my BLT on ciabatta bread was SO delicious, I mean, REALLY good (see pic-sorry about the bite) I didn’t need to add mustard or anything. Perfect. On the other hand, my husband got the Birria Burger which he did not like. But honestly, not going to blame the cook or the ingredients, I think he was expecting something else, he kept saying, I wish I’d gotten the BLT

We love this cute cafe. The service and food are great! Our family had a taco salad, nachos and chile rellenos today in celebration of our beautiful daughter’s 8th grade graduation. There is also American food that we have not tried, but this was only our second visit. I highly recommend it for a casual lunch or night out. There is also beer on tap. Go try it out!
Great place for a soup n sandwich lunch. It’s a mix of American and Mexican food. They even have beer on tap.
