I ordered chicken Ceasar salad and it was placed in a tiny bowl i was worried to spill while mixing it! When i dined in, I was literally the only person at the cafe and that speaks volumes. Customers wouldn’t forget experiences whether it’s bad or good. I would probably just start making my own salad and sandwiches.
The sea dog I ordered today was soggy and the bread was hard on the edges. The tuna salad was mushy and watery. I will never order anything from here.
Super over priced for bad tasting low quality ingredients. Took one bite a d had to place in the trash right outside. Don't come here.

Good food & staff. The only problem is that they are often out of pastrami & roast beef. They need a better supply system!

On the way in Salinas to a Subway, we saw this little cafe and promptly stopped. And we were right! The cafe has an inviting interior. But that's not all. We had a small cup of clamp chowder comparable to clamp chowders at other places. Then we had sandwiches: there's many options on the menu and we ordered different sandwiches. All were of excellent quality and very very tasty. The price is absolutely comparable to other lunchrooms.
WORST ERIK'S DELI I'VE BEEN TO NEVER GOING BACK!!! TOOK 45 MINUTES TO MAKE TWO SANDWICHES AND THEN THEY WERE BOTH WRONG!!!! WORKERS HAD TO LOOK AT THE MENU JUST TO BUILD THE SANDWICHES ANS THEY ATILL GOT THE QRONG!!!!
