Absolutely the finest Mexican food in the Salinas area!
This place makes the best flower tortilla in Salinas CA. In my personal experience also they make the best Mexican food I ever try no dough about it!!!I normally get from there a chille Verde burritos and two packs of flower tortilla.If you like to buy some tortillas need to be there before 10:00 am because after that time they done with the tortillas.Any time you visit this place make sure the have some Xtra time because you'll take a list from 15 mints. To 30 mints. But is worth it...The only complaint I do have is they just sell two packs of tortillas for a single person...Other on that they got thumbs up!!!
Bought two burritos here one time. They were absolutely delicious I appreciate how they would add everything I wanted in the burrito. I remember also buying a lemon tea drink but man did it suck to see the entire drink spill. Oh well at least the food was great. I would definitely come here pretty often.
My biggest complaint about most Mexican cuisine is when the meat isn't very good, tastes reheated, isn't quality cuts, etc... El Charrito has by far the best ingredients, chicken, beef, everything I've tried has been perfect. Their tortillas are phenomenal. Best Mexican food in Monterey County.
Awesome, simple but full of flavor. I will definitely come back and recommend it. The Tortillas are so soft and flavorful. The best!!!
I don’t know HOW they make their tortillas but these burritos are addicting. I usually will go and get extra to refrigerate for later! I don’t know of another place that has burritos with such a high quality taste. The prices are great too and they open early so I can go after working my night shifts in the hospital!
El Charrito has delicious Chili Verde and great breakfast burritos. Very popular usually always a line. But line goes fast and food is delicious. Picture of burrito is Chili Colorado...delicious!
Absolutely fantastic place for Mexican food, with a small patio for a few people to sit outside. We had the Chile Verde burrito and Chile Colorado burrito, along with extra guacamole. The guac was one of the best I've ever had - and I've had many! The staff are so lovely and gracious - we will be back.
they figured out a great system to get you in and out. fast service is a plus for me. good selection of authentic ingredients for some really good burritos. prices are really fair as well.the only thing I noticed that was different is the way they wrap the burritos, it doesn't make any sense?!? they folded the wrapper into the ends of the burrito. I thought maybe it was just me, but a friend confirmed that's how they do it there for some reason.
If you know you know. Home made tortillas. Delicious breakfast burritos. I recommend the jamon con papas (ham with potatoes) and the nopal breakfast burrito.Order ahead with the app or just online. So worth it to cut time out. You go to the entrance of the market and tell them you have an online order then youre done. If you can catch a bag of the tortillas you caught a unicorn. Best tortillas hands down. Like grandma makes!
