I called to place a pick up order and I was immediately put on hold then they hung up on me. After continually calling someone finally answered the phone. Had very poor phone manners for a business, kept cutting me off and rushed me. The food better be good tonight or they will have another poor review. Disgusted right now. I would have been fired if I talk to a customer like I was talked to.
I used to LOVE Chef Lees, Salinas restaurant; however, We just went and wasted $75, I works hard for my money and know I can cook better Chinese food than what we received. We did return 3 plates and 2 of them were fresher but the same quality. No bueno, the third, we did not want replaced and they still charged us for it!! No, I will not be returning. I understand they are short staffed, they did their best to serve quickly which they did, but it was burnt and not good.
I understand Sundays is a busy day for the employees but after I was seated I waited 20min for someone to help take my drink and food order.Finally I got the attention of a waitress named Bertha.. she said they were busy and I said I understand but no one had even offered drinks, and the other side table who was seated 15min after was being help and I was not she proceeded to say in a rude tone “ she did know what to say but she had two other tables and what did I want” .. I asked for her name and left. All she had to do was apologize for the wait and proceeded with taking my order, she did not have to be rude.I waited patiently for someone to help with my order and for her to come with attitude?? The customer service needs to drastically improve
My favorite Chinese place for 20 years... Good family restaurant or take out... Reasonable and large portions... Plenty of parking... Nearby shopping... Thank you Chef Lee's for being a part of our family's life... You have always hit the spot!
Went there Friday April 1 2022, dont eat here worst food ever and it stunk, beef and broccoli, sautéed shrimp, fried rice, I took 2 bites and was disgusted... gross low quality food although the wait staff was friendly and quick, I will never eat here ever!I brought the leftovers home and fed it to the wild cats.
The food was very delicious and very filling for the price plus plenty of leftovers for my lunch tomorrow
Went for dinner around 6.30pm on a Saturday. Was not very busy and they seated right me away.Immediately was asked if I wanted a drink. A couple minutes later, my waiter came to take my order. I was ready and placed my requests.Chow mein came first, about 5 minutes later the fried rice and mushu pork arrived. Everything was hot when I served my plate and tasted delicious.Veggies were cooked to my liking, not soft but not too hard. Sauces had great flavor as well.The waiter was attentive and checked up on me, boxed up everything when I was done,and had a pleasant sense of humor.Overall a great experience. Usually I order ToGo but decided to dine in for once. I was not disappointed.
Absolutely delicious! Food was great, staff was nice and super friendly towards us. The soups are delicious. Overall, absolutely delicious!
Usually a fav but we got chow mein and it came in super tiny containers same price we thought the whole family was goin to eat. Had i known i would have just ordered panda ??♀️
DO NOT EAT HERE!! Their food is disgusting I ate here last night and the food had meal worms and other bugs !!!!
