It wasn't very busy when I arrived around 11:30, but people started filling the tables soon after for lunch. The service was quick and friendly. The food options were plentiful.I got the Ariana's turkey melt (basically their BLT). It was toasted nicely, the bacon had a great crunch and flavor, and I appreciated the alphalpha sprouts that added a little freshness. However, it was quite greasy. The onion rings were good but lacked seasoning of any kind.Overall good, but not great. I'd consider going again when I'm in the area.
One of the worst places to eat in Salinas. DO NOT GO HERE. It is dirty, food is atrocious, customer service is abysmal, and they mischarge customers.- [ ] When we arrived we were greeted with a swarm of flies buzzing around everywhere. Tables were also dirty and had food remains that were not cleaned from previous customers.- [ ] The bacon cheeseburger we ordered was a frozen patty mess, the bacon was crusty, and the bread was drenched in grease. The fries that went with the cheeseburger were equally as bad as they were stale and tasted like the school cafeteria variety.- [ ] When we complained about it to our waitress she took our plate and informed the owner of the restaurant. He came over to our table and asked what was wrong with it and we told him it did not taste good and if he could bring us tacos instead. He brought the tacos after they were done and before we could finish the plate had the waitress bring our check. In it we found that they charged us half the price of the cheeseburger that was sent back and our other parts of the order.- [ ] On top of that they mischarged the whole bill (see attached picture). When we complained with our waitress we were told that we were still going to be charged the cheeseburger that was sent back because we were wasting perfectly good food and that they could package it up if we wanted. We obviously said no and paid the incorrect amount so we could leave.
Always good food. I have been eating here since they opened in 2008/2009. Very friendly service. Great atmosphere.
Usually good. Great prices makes it hard to beat. Tamales are also good.
My first time here, I wish I would have taken a picture when the food came out, here is an after pic. This restaurant surpassed my expectations and was very hefty in the service and servings. My family enjoyed our visit this restaurant, this is my new breakfast place!

What a surprise is what I said to myself as I sat down to read the menu. A small whole in the wall place with great feelings and great food. They had traditional american breakfast and traditional mexican breakfast also. I was torn between but ordered a waffle with eggs and bacon. It was delightful. Service was really good and attentive. I shared the restaurant with 5 other tables of eager eaters, and was happy to be there. Enjoy this eatery with friends...it's the right thing to do.
The service here has been so lax.. we wait and wait for coffee or water refills.. its a small place and they have been well staffed.. maybe just not trained correctly.. the food is what you would expect.. diner-ish.
