Food is overpriced for the amount you get, also cocktail drinks were pricey like $12 a piece, which is nuts.
The service was exceptional from the moment we walked into the front doors to the time we left. The food was good. The noise level was loud, but the table of 8 people next to us was a main contributor. We enjoyed your our experience!
I have always enjoyed going to a few Zocalo branches. This one had the music up too loud to hold a proper conversation. However, our server was fantastic, and I will go back. Also, if you order appetizers and entrees - be sure to tell them to hold the entrees for a set amount of time; our order was delivered complete.
Baja tacos were a soggy mess of frying oil. Fish was soggy like a sponge. Eeeek. They changed the menu too. Added some old stuff back and took off some favorites that can no longer get at lunch time like the Porto Bella mushroom and asada. Very disappointed this time. But servers and hosts were wonderful as always. Too bad the food fell short.

While visiting California we came across this gem. The reviews are correct!! It is a great upscale restaurant with Mexican Cuisine. Iâm a Foodie and a Food Snob and I would come back here in a heartbeat!! Everything was Delicious and AUTHENTIC!! Having traveled all over Mexico, so many restaurants come up short in what they consider âMexicanâ food but not Zocalo. The Cadillac Margarita (a pitcher!!), Chorizo Fundido, Cochinita Pibil & the Carnitas were amazing!! Anthony our Server was Excellent and made our dining experience extra special!! Can you open another of these restaurants in SWFL??
Small retirement party! We were seated quickly, we did have reservations, all the staff from start to finish were top notch! The food was amazing and priced right! Will be going again!
I love going to Zocaloâs during happy hour. The fish tacos are delicious!
