I had the pleasure of having the chicken tamale topped with chili verde, rice and beans with a side of homemade tortillas. It was amazing. Even my picky 9 year old loved it.
I have eaten at their food truck and it was very good so we wanted to try their take out menu. We were having a party on Saturday and I called on Tuesday and placed an order for one of their pizza box of 30 tacos for pickup on Saturday at 1130. When I went to pickup at the time the gate was closed and no one was answering their phone. We tried calling for over 15 min and left. I live in Roseville and drove the distance to pickup an order that i thought would be ready. There wasnt a post that they were closed or anything. Im extremely disppointed in their level of communication with their customers.

Tamales are delicious! Huge, moist masa, meaty. I ordered the dozen of tamales with rice, beans and salsa and they kindly thru in a bag of homemade tortilla chips. The tamales and homemade tortilla chips will bring me back again!!!

It’s my second year coming here to purchase tamales for Raleys 435 team member, during Christmas. The tamales are so scrumptious and huge. The team is in love with their tamales. We look forward to purchasing food from here for our next occasion.Side note, I brought some tamales to my mom and family, they thought it was really good! Approved by a Mexican household ?
Ok so my friend and I seek out the best tamales in Sacramento every year for Xmas. The last two years we've gone with Esperanzas and decided to look again. This year we had Yolanda's and I must say these are the best tamales I've had here!! The tamales are huge! Lots of meat! Chili in the masa is what makes a tamale for me and these had it!! They are very flavorful. I had a chicken and a pork. They were out of cheese. I took off one star due to price, they are expensive for tamales but I believe they make up for it with the amount of meat they put in them. The only thing missing from being like my abuelas tamales is the olive. Other than that really, really good. I'll definitely be back! It's a small hole in the wall spot with limited seating and parking. Located in industrial strip area near Franklin Ave in South Sac.
