First time here and it has become one of our fav. Spot! Our server was super friendly and helpful as we weren't exactly sure what we were ordering. He asked what we felt like eating and recommended dishes we may like. Sides were many and dishes were big. We were very impressed and staff were very friendly and attentive.

Went to eat with my family and when we were seated the lady told us since we’re a big group that tips will be included on our tabs. That’s fine no issues there. But when we left another group of maybe 4 people had also left too. The lady that works there confused us for that group, ran out to us with the receipt in hand and was demanding tips. I don’t know when tips became mandatory but that behavior is not okay.

Good food, nice big restaurant, friendly staff, a bit understaffed. Fyi, the tofu soup in the photo is half eaten. Google map is giving wrong direction to next door parking

So much bon chon (side dishes)!! Pretty big servings. But pricey, but good :)

Food was good. Portions are big to share. But very expensive. Service was fast. Only giving 3 stars because my sister asked for brown rice and the server kept pushing her that she wanted white rice. My sister is diabetic and was not accommodated with brown rice.

This was is good , the food are great. I had a great time. It sucks that they served people who came after us. We had a great server name Alex. That is the only reason I gave this store a 3 star is because of our server and the food. Before we leave the older lady ask us to give them tip. I apologize and said I don’t give tip because we were already paying $100+ But she got mad and just walked away and didn’t even give me my receipt until I asked and our server Alex gave it to me. That lady literally ruined my time there. I had a great time until she tried to convince me give her tip. She said she help a lot why not give them tip. As your customer , we shouldn’t feel like we’re being pressured to give tip. That is an option. Before she walk away she took my phone # down and my name.

My family used to frequent this establishment routinely. As of the beginning of 2022, this restaurant now holds a policy requiring every diner to order a separate dish, regardless of age, diet, or medical condition. With large dishes at prices ranging between $15.99 and $58.99, this new policy enforces overpurchasing for families who prefer to share dishes amongst themselves. Dining at this restaurant anymore is a promise to go over budget and guarantee leftovers. Fortunately, this policy is not currently held at the Folsom Boulevard location, and my family is willing to drive farther outside of our standard range to make this accommodation.

The best hole in the wall you can get this side of Sacramento. My favorite will be the tendon soup, so worth it. Menu says good for two but it can feed four people. It's tendon overload to the max.Staff is very nice, respectful and very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. And the best banchan spread ever, with crunchy baby crabs and swéet mini anchovies. Nothing was overlooked.

This is my first time dining in this restaurant.I told the waitress and she doesn't explain, what exactly am I ordering.Expect your wait time to be 30 minutes before you get your food. The waitress kept telling me to drink the soup.Seriously???The soup is way too oily.I dropped a hundred for my check and the guy asked if I want my change? Is he expecting me to tip them more than what I ate?I wasn't full at allCommunication and common sense is a major problem with this restaurant.

Food is delicious. they charged us for dinner during lunch (because it was the holiday season). made us order an extra dish because there were two of us, even though we ordered two glasses of wine at $6 each (the bottle costs $7.99 at Raley's). We've been coming here for years, but as many restaurants since the pandemic... they've changed. Was a great place. Sadly, I won't be coming back to YD tofu House. For this price i can go to a way nicer place, with better service, where I don't feel like they are trying to sneak in additional charges. We had ignored numerous "odd" incidents at this place because it's the only Korean restaurant in the area.
