The sign outside says “seat yourself” so I did, but no one approached me to take my order. Waste of time waiting for a Pinot.

$20 for a Margarita pizza that had a chunk of cold mozerella dumped on a semi warm thin oily crust. I expected better.Portions of wine weren't bad tho.

I heard of the ham and greyere cheese sandwich on rustic sourdough and this is what I got.

Our experience was excellent. There was a long line at another bar in same concourse. Tried the other bar but the bartender just seemed stressed out. Left there and found this gem. Plenty of attentive staff. We ordered a beet and avocado salad and a margarita pizza. Both good. Big burrata on top of pizza was cold but I love cheese so didn't ruin it. Wine selection very good. We had a nice Sauvignon Blanc and an Urban Roots IPA. This place definitely made the airport wait more pleasant!

I was sitting at the bar for 2 hours. I was served 1 glass of wine. My glass was empty for over an hour was never asked if I wanted a refill. Finely had to ask for my ticket because it was time to board my flight. It was not that busy. One of the waitresses was serving the web on her personal computer. I would think they v would want to serve patrons for a larger tab a d tip

They lost my debit card. And then they laughed about it.I don’t know that I need to get into the terrible service- if you’re not right in front of the bar, you won’t get served unless you stand up at your table and wave for 10 minutes. But they lost my bank card. They used an old ratty check book with the card holder mostly ripped out, and dropped my bank card, when she got to my table she giggled and said “oh let me see if your card is still there, it felt like it fell out.” She then asked every patron across the entire restaurant if they had seen it. Oh and they still charged me, with the bank card they swiped and then lost.

Our first flight in more than two years. SMF was quiet as we entered Terminal A around 5:30pm in advance of our 7:30pm flight. To our surprise, all the bars and restaurants were closed - we thought we'd grab a bite and drinks while waiting. The only opening was at Vino Volo. Lucky for us, things were quiet there as well and we quickly grabbed a table and order small bites and beverages - beer and wine. Our server, Danielle, was the lone server at the bar and dining area. In short order, there was a line out the door and all the tables and bar were full. She never missed a beat taking orders and busing tables. Another staff person was in the kitchen brining out food and I'm sorry we didn't get his name. BUT Danielle was the star of the hour. Organized. Friendly. So impressed that we called and told the manager she deserves kudos for job well done. I wrote a story about Vino Volo when it first opened at SMF in 2007. I'm glad to see they've survived and are thriving. Hope all the other staff and locations are equally welcoming. Wine and beer and other non-alcoholic drinks available.

Every time my friend and I travel, we stop at Vino Volo. It's become a tradition for us! We make sure we arrive early so that we can have a glass of wine and a preboarding snack. We love this place!

Great experience! Perfect stop prior to our flight taking off!!

What can I say but it's been many years since I ate in an airport and felt like a number but today I was a customer and staff were friendly , attentive and smiling Myself & partner had the Charcuterie Plate , Cheese Board and Tuscan Chicken Sandwich it may sound alot but these are small plates & sandwiches to share and boy was the quality and presentation of a high standard Drinks on offer were Speciality Wines and Bubbles being Champagane & Prosecco We took 2 flights of wines at $15 a go and were not dissapointed the menu card also offered glasses of wines and the quality was spot on with choice This venue felt relaxed , WIFI was good and ambience along with staff was good Definitely if passing thru Sacramento airport it's worth a visit
