My granddaughter loves this cafe and wanted to share her taste and experience with the family for her HS graduation. The cafe is actually a renovated home in Mid Town. It has a Berkeley vibe and sits on the second floor of the bldg. I have to say, the atmosphere was very casual with typical cafe type seating and even a couple couches to lounge on. Mind you none of us are Vegan except for my granddaughter. The food was surprisingly good. We ordered the Spring Bruschetta, Guac Burger, The Works, Curry, Spring Crepe, Chicken nuggets, and three of the desserts. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I really enjoyed the Spring Buschetta. The menu changes frequently so your favorite dish might not be there the next time. They were able to accommodate our party of 8 and we weren't cramped which was also a plus for me. The service was excellent. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience with a really cool laid back atmosphere. My granddaughters even purchased some precious stone jewelry that were for sale there too.
I came here with a friend on a Tuesday night for dinner & it was almost a full house. We ordered the fried chicken burger, beyond gyro, & mushroom calamari all to share and it was all pretty good. My favorite was the gyro! The feta they make in house is so good! The fried chicken burger tasted a bit too salty but still good & that was my friends favorite, overall great meal and ambiance. The staff was friendly and attentive. I will definitely be coming back in the future.
This place is located in a nice locality and serves decent food. My issue is that the prices you see on their menu don't match the prices on the check. When restaurants/businesses tell me a different price before and after I've ordered something, it really disappoints me and becomes more of a trust issue. Regardless of the price difference, this place is a bit on the expensive side but offers good vegan food and desserts (although I did find my brussel sprout starter to be really salty).P.S. Most items on the menu weren't available when I was there for dinner. It could probably be because they had an event happening around then.
The food is tasty and I have been back several times.I miss the pancakes with the bacon in it though. :( I haven't been back as much since those were taken off the menu.I would still recommend you check it out. :)
Had brunch here and was blown away by the amazing tasty food. I had the blintzes with sour cream and beetroot and my husband has the just the omelette - both were divine. Service was amazing and the place itself is very comfortable with a great vibe. Fabulous!
Delicious!!? Really each dish was worth every bite, really enjoyed our time
If someone in your group is Vegan, this is a great choice for dinner out. Everything we tried on the menu was delicious and I can confirm that your vegan friend will appreciate having a whole menu to choose from instead of the one or two token choices or modifications they usually get. Loved the gf florentine crepes and cauliflower buffalo wings.
I really like this place. I went here a couple months ago then went back recently. They have a fairly diverse menu with vegan options. (Check out their menu). They have a “seasonal menu” that changes from time to time. The service was really good and the atmosphere is nice. You can adjust pretty much anything as far as gluten free, vegetarian or vegan options. Most of the entrees and items are Thai types so lots of noodles and rice. If you’re vegan or vegetarian and like Thai food I would recommend this place 100%.
THE LENTIL SOUP MAKES ME FEEL LIKE I WAS JUST HUGGED BY 1000X GRANDMAS ✨Comfort food to the max.
I've been meaning to try VEG for a while, and what better time than to come in for their vegan chef challenge menu in 2021. Soul (I'm sorry if I am spelling your name incorrectly) was an amazing server and got me exactly what I needed for a full four course delectable array of amazing food. I loved it all, but as Soul suggested the beet and feta salad with the mushroom risotto was absolutely to die for. I will be back for sure.
