I'm so glad The Shack has survived the scourge that COVID has inflicted upon the restaurant industry. I had a not-great experience here 6 years ago and decided not to come back for a good while. Well, upon my return i can say that their game has come back better than ever. Service, food, drinks, all top notch. A truly great neighbourhood experience.
Don't let the name fool you! The Shack is a wonderful local establishment with great patio seating, food and drink! Food is mix of sandwiches, burgers, brunch/breakfast, fish and chips, fries, o ions rings and more! Drinks were also very good and much more upscale than you'd expect given the name. Prices were reasonable and patio was kid and dog friendly! Would highly recommend for brunch or lunch!

This was my second time coming here. Their beer selection has a lot of IPAs. A lot of patio seating, indoor seating is small. I love that dogs are welcome here. Onion rings were on point! I ordered the nutty burger, it was okay, came with steak fries. My boyfriend enjoyed his burger, which was a bacon burger.
Excellent service, I dined on the patio with my dog. They brought her a water dish and homemade biscuits. The food was delicious, the drinks had a great presentation and the staff were all attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back.

We have been here for breakfast lunch and dinner. All have been great experiences. Services has gotten better over the years. And the food keeps getting better and better with new menu items. Beer options are great. Outdoor seating is perfect and friendly to kids and dogs alike ;-)
